Attention seeking. "You ok, hun?" sort of cobblers.

Woman takes selfie. Uploads to Facebook or Instagram. Looks at comments of all her friends reciting Shakespeare with over the top flattery compliments. Bizarre and cringeworthy.

And yes I have no issues saying this on International Women's Day. It's annoying

We went thru a spell under GJ when we seemed to concede a late equaliser every game.

I can't make the game on Sun, so that gives us hope as my absence normally brings a goof result.

    2009/10. I remember it.

He was, it is absolute nonsense that his arrival was a factor.

We played Enoch as a lone striker at times earlier that season, so how come we weren’t disrupted then? We ran out of steam & Carle was largely ineffective, Dele strengthened us, not made us weaker.

Enoch was better with his feet and would drop deeper. Also we stopped playing David Noble as much unfortunately.

We definitely did stop playing the good football we were playing at the beginning of the campaign from January onwards.

    Facebook.

People on Facebook posting their life stories, all for a bit of attention. I’ve actually seen people post photos of their deceased relatives hands.

Come on, that moment should stay private.

Social media in general really. I'd include Instagram to that and its pretentious 'influencers'.

I always thought Adebola was good for us.

He was good, but he disrupted our playing style in 2007/08. It worked best when we didn't have a big man up front to lump it to, before he came in we were playing some very tidy football at times. Afterwards, we started lumping it.

Yep been saying it for years it's one of the hardest jobs outside the premier league experience is definitely key in managing city it just isn't a job for a apprentice.

    Expectation is high
Ambition is high (for the fans)
Reality is we aren't very good.
    Big City mentality.

It needs experienced Manager's, or one with a big personality who can handle it.

The only thing is, we massively overperformed for 2/3rds of that season. Some games defied gravity the way we clung on to a lead or grabbed a late winner.  Some will say we choked, but I just think thr season caught up with us, whisper it, but we missed LJ when injured & we'd used all our good fortune pre Xmas really.

I think Byfield was top scorer with 8, which says a lot.

0 GD after 42 games says a lot.

QPR were "at it". Interesting to know stats, but trust your eyes. They were very unlucky. Attitude template for our upcoming games.

Cifuentes is certainly getting a tune out of that team. I think they'll survive comfortably playing like they did last night.

  9. I think i've decided not to renew for 2024/25, regardless of what League we're in.

We've been boring to watch for years, and I could get on board with it under NP as I could see he was rebuilding a squad for the future. Now this is slowly being ripped apart for 'progressivism' which to me is even more boring than what we've had even at times under Lee Johnson.

The whole day out is expensive as well, and the atmosphere terrible. The fans are bored and fed up with it. We've seen umpteen amount of clubs surpass us and make it to the top and we just flounder in the Championship going from hopeless to hopeless.

Time to start going to a local non league side for a bit to get a proper football fix.

  10. Hadn't listened to the pod for a couple of months after finding Ian simply unbarable but after reading the comments on here I found it was a must listen.

Tom and Neil Sutton absolutely nailed pretty much everything really and I wish they were on the pod months ago to challenge Ian's biased and obtuse opinions.

I was laughing throughout most of the pod to be honest when Ian was trying to find everything and anything to defend the Manager. He lost it imo when he said 'Some want us to lose' - Simply not true and not a single City fan would ever want that.

At the moment we're staring down the barrel, we're in terrible form, I can't see us scoring more than 1 goal in a game and if we lose the next 2 we will be in the relegation scrap.

Maybe there was a good reason as to why so many City fans did not want NP out..

Nige back would be lovely but can’t see it.

I think Paul Heckinbottom as a manager would get better out of the current squad.

Heckingbottom is a shout. Decent manager at this level, would suit City I think. Relatively progressive but can also mix things up which he did at Sheffield United.

I do fear the Manager's job at City is a poisoned chalice though, and too many managers look at us and think 'too high of an expectation and if i fail i'll be at a League 1 club after'.

Should never have sacked Pearson. Absolute disasterclass.

  12. Sorry we've seen this type of performance too many times from this side to take any positives.

I have not been so depressed watching us in that 2nd half for years and that's saying something.

Cardiff had more fight and resolve than our pathetic bunch today too.

I’m a member not a STH. Absolutely zero motivation to part with my money at the moment.

Pointless going mate. Come from Trowbridge every game, its become a long and boring day out. Never felt so distant from the club, you should feel excited to go and I don't anymore.
