    obfuscation

As ever a informative and insightful preview Havanatopia and only the third instance of word obfuscation being used in over 2.5 million posts!

And is case you don't fully understand its meaning, like me, this is what Wkii says:

Obfuscation is the obscuring of intended meaning in communication, making the message confusing, wilfully ambiguous, or harder to understand. It may be intentional or unintentional (although the former is usually connoted) and may result from circumlocution (yielding wordiness) or from use of jargon or even argot (yielding economy of words but excluding outsiders from the communicative value). Unintended obfuscation in expository writing is usually a natural trait of early drafts in the writing process, when the composition is not yet advanced, and it can be improved with critical thinking and revising, either by the writer or by another person with sufficient reading comprehension and editing skills.

Danny, I'm surprised at that admission.

Any true Gashead will tell you that once a site has been selected, design completed, planning permission obtained and finance put in place.

The next logical step is to do a feasibility study

    Really?

So before you decide if a project is feasible you go to the considerable expense of paying hundreds of thousands of pounds in architects fees, planning consultants, designers, lawyers and god knows who else.

Wouldn't want to be the other half of your pantomime horse!

    This is Wally's story ....

    http://www.venturemagazine.me/2016/08/buying-into-the-beautiful-game/

"After months of intensive negotiations, al-Qadi eventually beat around 10 other bidders to secure ownership of the club by absorbing its considerable debts. Due to a non-disclosure agreement, he can’t reveal the figures involved, but he insisted his family got a good deal. “You would be amazed at how much value we got,” he said. "

So he didn't pay off the considerable debts .... he just "absorbed" them!

Would we be amazed at the value he got? .... he still had change from a fiver?

So the extent of his investment to date is to buy some sarnies for the players:

"As soon as he took over, he set about making simple but important improvements to the way the club was run. He was surprised, for instance, to find no food was being laid on for players after training. So he began organizing catering for them. “If you provide food for the players to eat on the same table, that creates camaraderie and bond for the whole club and gives it meaning,” he said.

  4. For Chippenhamgas on Gasshat, the penny is finally beginning to drop

"Normally don't believe anything chimp says but you don't need to be in the know to work things out. The silence speaks louder than anything on this. Starting to question whether our new owners actually have any money or access to investment. "

    Only just starting your questions?

I had the DAB channel on at kick off before I realised it was going to be the GAS on there, even their summariser (the equivalent of Adam Baker) has bought into the bullshit, saying how they had become one of the richest teams in football overnight! That's ALL football apparently, I kid you not!

Did exactly the same thing and heard what Keith Brookman said.

I just can't believe how deluded they all are.

It can only end in tears.

  7. In this day and age of the "celebrity" role model, this is a man who has made a REAL and significant change to the world.

This is a man from whom we can and should take positive lessons and learn sobriety.

Along with Mother Teresa,  a genuine Saint in the modern world, who personally sacrificed so much for us all.

    Resting in rightful peace
