They do know that it has to go to competitive tender which will take at least 3 months
Only thing Wally's buying is time. The belters lap it up.

They have been told by a couple of their own numerous times that it was public knowledge, how that came about I don’t know, guessing his Agent to the press, but one of Fewers said he’d heard it from a close friend of MT.
Matty Taylor and Lee Johnson share the same agent.

....what sort of bellend do you have to be to open your gob like that in a restaurant when it is pretty likely that someone is spending time with their family?

And that ends today’s lesson in how to ask a question, answer it yourself - and then still be confused as to the reply...!
It was mentioned in the comments by one of his own

So just for clarification, a club that can't even get a bracket for a big TV is suddenly going to find Circa 40 mill down the back of the sofa to build a stadium ? This is the same club that used a pergola for a disabled shelter and a tent for a stand.....OK then.

Utter irrelevance as The Gas have never been in Europe so being out of it would be business as usual ( or did you mean FLexit..?)

A couple of technical points for those commenting on the 'actions' of The Fake Sheikh.
It's not unusual, or illegal, to apply for planning or pre-planning consents on freehold one doesn't own. Proposals don't have to be delivered and if the owner isn't happy presumably they'll note an objection.
Ditto technical planning surveys and development, providing they aren't intrusive they may be done without the owner's consent.
As for the rest of the criticisms fair points all, though I hear after this week's deluges there was espied a gert on the Muller Road and legend has it there's bound to be a crock of something at the end of it.....
Sorry, but you haven't factored in a no deal Brexit

I feel kinda dirty, but on points west last night they had the Gas manager on. They do this thing where Ali Durden drives them around in his car and they have a chat, I actually quite liked the bloke. Too good for the Gas that’s for sure.
There I said it, I feel unclean.
Ban yourself immediately.

Rich said it was an administrative change of name'. That simply isn't true, Bristol City went bankrupt and a new club was formed. It does seem to rankle a few City fans, but that is what happened. Looking at where City are now, I'm surprised that it still seems to upset so many.
You're oddly interested in administration, are you practicing for some upcoming event ..?

Today marks 50 years since we landed on the moon. To commemorate this I thought I’d share a fact.
Rover’s record breaking signing of Andy Tilson is closer to the date of the moon landing then it is to the present day.
These are the kind of facts the world needs

When I was involved in kids football it was always Southampton snapping up the best kids (Brian Tinnion was involved with them).
I always thought it was a crying shame, these kids who were half decent , getting picked up at ridiculously young ages and in many cases their parents encouraging it.
Let them play with their mates, if they really are good enough the clubs will get them when it matters.

"I started watching Rovers at Eastville. Great time there which went sour at the end as we were forced to leave what was the best site in Bristol of any football stadium. What if we still owned it now!
We were forced out because we didn't own the site. Exiled for 10 years in Bath we crept back to Bristol as tenants of Bristol Rugby.
So what did Geoff Dunford ever do for us? L3 Champions beating some other team to it. Promoted to tier 2 with an ex England manager. Every player from that squad went on to play in the top tier of English football. Has any other local team achieved that?
Dunford then achieved the near impossible at that time and we now own a stadium."Exactly this, I honestly don't know what there moaning about . Massive club.

Yep my school used to say ‘rush’ goalies, or ‘all hands in’ was the other one I think
basically if the keeper went on a run someone else could drop in and cover for them
I grew up in Knowle West and we always called it drop back goalies.
