In other news, trying not to wake my little boy up which a huge sneeze, I’ve trying to stifle it, and I’ve just shit my pants.
There is a fantastic metaphor for our current situation in there somewhere but I've just finished a four hour drive and don't have the capacity to find it!

This forum has become an echo chamber. Everyone is assuming Nigel refers to the Lansdowns but from what I hear, there is a tense relationship with our DoF and that is what Nigel is referring to.
What is your evidence for this?

I’ve always been mostly supportive of SL, well, not some of his appointments, but a few years back he seemed genuinely interested in the club, I wonder if it feels more like a burden than a pleasure now, if so maybe it’s time to move on, but I hope if he does sell up, due diligence and a proper fit and proper person check is completed, so we don’t end up with some asset stripping charlatan.
I don't think Steve ever recovered from the Ashton/Johnson era. That was his last big push and now he's quite clearly not into it anymore

Listened to it yesterday. Loved hearing about his respect for Tinnion, Murray, Carey etc. Brooker sounds like a complete ***** off the pitch.
I recommend listening to the Steven Caulker one as well. That guy has had some demons. Unbelievable how he managed to stay in football as long as he did with his lifestyle.
Until Adam Webster came along, Caulker was the best centre back I had seen play for us. Had the potential to go to the very top

I do like him. He will probably look like a boy until he is 56 so it can be easy to forget he has been with us for eight years!
The issue for me is not him but how there has been no competition for him for a long time now.

Average squad with no real momentum. Stale as week old bread. The tangible legacy of Steve Lansdown is fantastic; the intangible legacy leaves much to be desired

I'm a fan of Williams' strops. Given how much rehab the club given him, I think he should be thankful for every minute he gets, and more respectful to the decision makers and the players that replace him.
I do often wonder if he regrets signing for us as his injuries were dealt with very poorly by the previous regime.

We usually get absolutely dicked on when we play this lot, will be happy with a point

Was the difference and he only needed fifteen minutes to do it in...

Stoke lost their last game 3-1 at home. Their fans come across angrier than we would be;

I like his commentary a lot. Reminds me of Shearer's visible annoyance when Newcastle weren't doing well

They could have really had something if they chose to keep Wade on as assistant manager

Vardy runs all the way to our fans.
He loves it, does it to everyone. Never a nice feeling when it happens to us but football is ultimately a pantomime and it needs its villains

Great save Max.
Either Wolves 17/18 or the last time Newcastle were here

You're probably busy enough as is but it's a sport that is well worth checking out. Got more of an edge than football and works well for those that are disillusioned with all the play-acting endemic to the modern game
