In the early 70's there was a fleet of 19 coaches carrying fans from Middlesbrough. The Police stopped them routinely and found many of the occupants were carrying axes etc. As a result the entire fleet was turned round. They then stopped at Coventry and ran riot in their city centre before making their way to Highfield Road.
After all these years, did those axe carriers single out this game or was it routine for them back then?
Remember that, it was on the front page of the Sunday Mirror the next day.

But then Weimann is near Ince and stands there pointing allowing Ince to run with the ball into the box.
Not sure what O'Dowda did in the build up to the goal? Seems like it was his fault as well but can't remember why?
Let's forget for a minute O'Dowdas talent witch he surly has.
He just dosen't have the bottle, will never contest a 50/50, never prepared to get hurt.
Weather he stays at the club who knows, but he will never change.

Or more likely Wednesday.

Apparently because Celtic weren't allocated any tickets for the away fixture.
Yeah read that, Rangers cut the amount of tickets for Celtic fans from 7'500 to 900 in 2018, with Celtic then doing the same.
Now Covid has come into the the reasoning, make of that what you will.

60,000 home fans no away fans nuts. They have to sort that out.
-
This looks like being a route,Celtic's energy and pace killing Rangers.

Has to be the Leeds Result, they were the best side in the country at the time.

It's like we have all these budding stars and next season looks so exciting.
Then will they still be here?
With just a few signings we could be around the top these young lads are so confident, never seen it before at this level.
But here we are again on the cusp, the future is bright. Can we hold onto most of them for a year or two?

I think it’s a bit pathetic really. He’s been gone for almost 2 years now - there was some good times and some bad times as is normal.
It’s never occurred to me to look at another teams forum to see whether they’re giving a former manager/player of ours stick. Really weird behaviour.
I think really weird is pushing it a bit.
Have a mate who's a Sunderland fan so with the link to Johnson i like to have a look at their thoughts on him .

Such a shame for Pring, he seems the sort of lad that will come back stronger.

After calming down a bit that was a good performance.
Win at Blackpool then it's a decent return from 2 away games.
Slow but sure were getting there.

That was my concern at start of season, would players of alleged “quality”, used to playing more of an attractive style, buy into a Uber-direct style over the course of a season.
Can remember you saying that. he's gone maybe this week maybe next.

Extremely irritating result which sums up where we are at this time
we are starting to consistently play well and some of the kids are shining
That said you cannot avoid the obvious and that is max is absolutely not good enough for this level, and the constant rabbit in headlights on the goal line moments are just way too common and a clear deficiency in his game
If as it seems Pearson doesn't fancy Bentley then apart from anything else we need a keeper for next season.

You can't do the basics you deserve to lose.
But we know what we lack, we just don't have the players in the side to stop it happening.

Well played boys, didn't deserve that.
