And the likely case is that we will have an incredibly tough summer in the transfer market.  I don’t think many fans have got their heads around that…yet.

If that's the case Dave with the chance that one or two of our young players leaving, then next season is already looking grim.

Maybe a couple or three sides that will be worse than us, but not something to look forward to.

The thought of a dour relegation fight season after season then the drop is so depressing.

After all these years tho playing at a level where we can at least compete play decent football and win as many as we loose has an appeal .

    United? ... ?

Leeds? Newcastle? West Ham? Scunthorpe? Cambridge? Peterborough? Hartlepool? Southend? Sheffield?

No offence but I hate it when people latch onto the media’s very annoying trait of assuming everyone knows who they mean when they say ‘United’ or ‘City’ - some people on here even say ‘City’ when they mean ‘Manchester City FC’ - how rubbish is that?! There’s only one ‘City’ in these parts ...

Well that United cheered me up a bit tonight.

To be fair I thought it was class from Dack. Never a pen so he passed it to Bents. Ultimate professional.

Enjoyed Williams’ cross for our goal. Assuming he meant it

Great to see football going back to the old days of fair play, class.

Looking at Cornwall I presume that`s Truro City they`re showing? If so I`d venture Argyle have more fans in Cornwall than Truro do.

Always has. Truro historically behind Falmouth and Bodmin for support in Cornwall.

Believe they are playing home games at Plymouth Parkway with crowds under 200,ok would get a decent crowd if they ever get the new stadium.

Argyle have always had big support from Cornwall as well as North Devon.

Watched Frank bemoaning it so I had a look.... Dear oh dear.. Even with VAR they couldn't get it right.

I mean it's not even borderline, it's handball, ref said he didn't see it . Fair enough but the VAR guys did and they said no penalty you don't need to have a look. ..???????

Yeah but he only controlled it with one arm.

The problem with that is you end up with your “one up top” isolated because you can’t transition back into 433 quickly.

A team has to be able to move across the pitch quickly…and as a team.  You have to accept a 60 yard ball might catch you out every now and again, but that’s why you have to condense the play and get pressure on the man on the ball.  Forest did this ever so well a couple of seasons back with Grabban dictating which wing they’d force their opponents down, and then they’d squeeze that half of the pitch.

With respect (as that is the done thing tonight} With a side with 5 players 20 and under ? to expect them to get everything right is not ever going to happen . For me Bell all of the first half was ignored by both center backs even in acres of space both  looked, then turned the other way .

Coventry knew that and gave him 20 yards of space as they knew the ball was never going right.

He played as a nervous kid 2nd half two or three crosses hardly getting off the ground. no surprise confidence is everything.

Can't wait for next season  these kids are the best bunch in my lifetime and that's since 1966.

They glossed over the fact City weren't playing the most talented centre half they've EVER had, preferring instead to continue with Rodgers once he broke into the side after Collier got crocked against Moscow Dynamo. That's why he left.

Tragedy was the move to Cov also 'broke' Collier who quickly decided to start again in The States.

For those too young to have seen him play imagine Webster, only twice as good.....

Twice as good as Webster don't know about that.

But was certainly the most cultured center back we have had the pleasure to watch in 50 years.

Hansen at Liverpool you could compare him to as he would glid forward with the ball.

    Tougher than Hansen for sure.

As Dave said ⬆️ , I read it was cleaned up footage from JP.
Compared to the Man U 3-0 win, it's very good, I assume they are from the same batch.
I wish the club would do more of these if they are available.

Did we ever beat manu 3/0?

Not trying to be picky but the best i can remember is 3/1 at Old Trafford. Probably just my shite memory.
