Have to say that's one of the best things i've ever read.

"Take me off Boss got a twinge in my calf and foot is painfull after that last tackle."

Pearson."Stay on lad i'v had a word with the two Brum Centre Backs at H/T,They will test you out to see if you'r fit for Preston."

    Preston 5-0

    Swansea 7-1

    Gas 4-0

    Birmingham last season was worse

    Coventry last season.

Any number of Osman games that we've all forgotten as we don't want to suffer the PTSD.

See this is the thing with football.

My first City game was a 2/0 win over Leyton Orient in 66 and it's been mostly downhill since.

Trouble is it will only end at my end!!!!!!

I think individually , and collectively , as a side  we need to be right ‘at it’ and a 8/10 to get results

I don’t think we have the quality across the side or squad to drop too far from a good / excellent level , and with a thin squad and a fair bit of inexperience that’s difficult to do , week to week

Missing the experience of James , Klose , Kalas , Naismith today and at the moment doesn’t help

I can for that reason , at least ,understand why he wanted to go with King today

Get that we need experience in the side and put on here last week that Naismith is the first name on the team sheet for me.

But to get the best out of Scott is for the team to be brave.

If the rest hide away don't want the ball passed to them in a tight area or gamble on his vision and make the runs, well he's wasted.

As you well know Shelts football is all about movement and body position and a lot of ours today was backwards.

Was only a couple of games back we were dominating Norwich having had an acceptable start - many on here now stating the end is near and we are to be relegated in October. Really? We all took the piss out of Swindon a few years back when they dropped their seminal fluids early doors !

You can see on our day we can give good footballing sides like Norwich a decent game.

For a few years now when we turn up at the likes of Brum,Preston,Millwall we get bullied outfought and then outthought.

It's pretty sad to me that Scott at 19 is the toughest and most brave player we have on the pitch.

That's apart from also having the nous and guts to take a booking to stop a dangerous counter attack.

Apart from Williams is there anyone else in the squad with that in them.?

Starting with Norwich , the Champ teams realised we have zero attacking threat from our wing backs and plenty from central areas.

Hence letting the wing backs have all the ball knowing they won't do anything with it

Good start to the season again will probably keep us in good stead.

There is no way we will trouble the top 6.

Were so far off challenging wele finnish 6 or 7 places outside the drop.

Conway failed to pick out Wells first half for a tap in, too.

Yeah he's done that a couple of times maybe that was why he was hooked.?

Wells was looking some pissed off with that especially after Wells had put the ball in against Cardiff for him to score.

Tommy has had a great start to his first team career  but a learning curve that it's a team game.

I see on tonight's news it has been proposed to the Rugby League that "Certain top clubs" should be exempt relegation. ?

Presumably good news for say, Leeds & Wigan, but not the likes of Castleford.

If  the RL adopt this proposal (meeting on 13th October), I can imagine other sports following suit.

Perhaps the likes of Yorkshire not being relegated to Division 2 of cricket's County Championship and then of course.....football.

OK if you are a London club or one from the North West, but not the remainder of the Prem

You know Castleford is in Yackshere?

Witch means they should never be relegated as Yackshere is the greatest County on Earth and to never be messed with.

How come anybody from up there is from Yorkshire as opposed to Leeds Hull or Tadcaster?

  8. Greatest player ever? Can never be proven but best player to watch? By a Country mile for me.

The players that i loved watching apart from Federer were Borg Edberg and Agassi.

Thank God for Alcaraz after all the pretenders of the last 10,15 years, it's going to be a lot harder for Djokovic or Nadal from now on.

Got to be a multiple Grand Slam winner, has the all round game, some of his net play at the US Open was brilliant.

Tough draws for the two Devon/Cornwall sides left in. Helston away at WSM if they win their replay v Bishops Cleeve and Plymouth Parkway away at Oxford City.

Taunton should be OK provided the opposition don`t wear laced up boots and corduroys.

Hell of  a result for Helston, first year in the Western League after a limited time in the South West Peninsula.

Mate of mine runs there Development side.
