Said before many times the Dutch are not a good side,it’s their history that makes people think they are
Agree. Dutch bang average .
A lot of world cups have been won by not the best sides.
74,78 Dutch.Brazil 82 were the standout teams and generally most football fans hope to win the tournament.
how Italy took Brazil out in 82 remains a mystery to me.

All Mexico aren`t we?
Although part of me would like to see Messi win a World Cup.
Why do people say were all this or that team?
Had a punt on the Argies to win it. (although don't see them doing it now)
So no we were not all Mexico.

that pen is a joke of a decision. minimal contact and throws himself to the floor. game is gone
If that's a Pen there should be 500 Free Kicks a game.

Amazing really, 20 odd shots 4 on target.
Players can ping 40yard passes with accuracy yet get anywhere near that 8yard wide goal and get nowhere it with shots.
Just shows most of it in's the head.
Anyway unlucky Canada so deserved to win. Belgium? so poor i know sometimes winners of the thing get off to a bad start, but no chance this lot are going deep into this.

Winning the group likely keeps us away from Brazil and Argentina (assuming they win their groups). Reason enough to go for the top spot and take whoever we get in the last 16.
Have backed us to play Argentina in the Final. Brazil, Argey semi kicking the shit out of each other appeals .
Thats if we progress of coarse.

Always had doubts about Zak but he's gaining confidence and growing into the role.
Well played Zak.

Did I? Really? I think that’s the cautious side of me, start strong, hopefully get a lead, then sub off. But if I did, then I wasn’t unhappy at 6:45pm either.
Am always baffled why managers put out a weekend team with the best players on the bench.
Then try to retrieve the game when behind as opposed to what you say.

Banbury!
While you were cheering me up losing to Lincoln last night, I was actually watching Banbury United v Chester with colleagues. What a bizarre night, it all kicked off after Chester scored a penalty, police reinforcements were called in, the bars closed and we managed to get kept behind after the game with the Chester fans, then it went off a bit outside with the police! There were even several renditions of the Harry Roberts song, which some of our older viewers may remember.
It was all very 'handbags' and I know I shouldn't be laughing about it, but it was a very strange night!
Was at the Gloucester v Kings Lynn game the other week. Lynn had a boisterous mob who were up for it plenty of swearing and the like, pretty threatening crew.
3 or 4 home fans 14yo types wound them up and it nearly kicked off.
At h/t they decided to march around the ground and take over the home end (Those were the days)
Went past us with real intent until a Steward put a bollard in their way about half way line and said "you aint coming past me lads"
Riot was averted they marched back to their end and calm was restored.

I genuinely think we might be. And so much appetite here for a big, successful club. Nothing else for miles around. And it’s not a rugby city, it’s a football city. The attendances prove that.
I hate that I support us.
My son sent me that message after Cardiff dumped us out of the play offs all those years ago.
Yet there we were tonight still watching that crock of shit. i struggle to remember a worse 45mins than the first half tonight.

The bloke is pathetic. Putting half arsed performances so he is ready for the World Cup. Here’s hoping he doesn’t get selected
Bottled it tonight for sure, hope he's nowhere near the squad Saturday.

Pretty much most of the blokes I know have got an Albanian on speed dial.
Perhaps the first step in this process should be to deal with the Albanian drug gangs and prevent more arrivals.
As with most things, this is looking to punish the end user rather than the provider. Now now Harry your doing this to get gang engaged arnt you.?

Lincoln knew they’d already had their easiest trip to the south west this season when they beat Rovers 6-3 earlier this season!!
I wonder if they’re staying down here,
Mate of mine (Roma fan is over there this weekend for the Derby)
Bringing him down the gate Tuesday for a proper game.
