It’s a very good discussion. Starting in the late 80s/early 90s there was
Martin Scott
Darren Barnard
Jim Brennan
Mickey Bell
All within a decade. I’d have had Brennan top had he played for longer and realised his potential with us but he played a great run of left footed right back games and ended up going to Forest before he played that much. Lot of respect for Barnard as well - signed a new deal which meant we got a fee, when it was clear he was in the way prior to signing. You then obviously had the cheap Bell.
And this is before we get into Bryan, DaSilva and Mark Humphries.
But I’m probably with you on Scott
Really rated Mickey Bell

You can listen to Radio Bristol on a Freeview telly providing it is tuned correctly. I think it's somewhere up in the 700s in the channel list.
It's how Old Mother Robbo follows City away games, whereas chez moi we either watch or use the old-fashioned radio.
Ahhh so the way to get is either the old or new tech but big standard tech no way hosay

I rate Ming's.

Could I suggest getting freeview installed as it comes in with crystal clear MONO,when the City are AWAY.
Or when the other lot ain't playing at the same time
Does Freeview access to radio Bristol give full commtary access then

I can’t imagine it’s great for anyone to be trying to play a game with 1000 or so rattling about in a stadium that holds closer to 28,000.
Wel more should go then

There will still be a handful of matches played at Ashton Gate.
Playing games at the HPC has replaced playing games at SGS Wise (or Twerton but not sure if fans were ever able to attend those due to Covid)
The club has arranged a special bus service to the HPC for match days to allow for easier access: https://www.bcfc.co.uk/travel/hpc-travel/
Brillaint link , top job , thanks

I would think that, 12 Rugby matches, 23 football matches and half a dozen U23's is considered enough. I would think any big games would be switched, but the Training ground does make sense, for the U23's too.
There was mention of a direct Bus to the ground, can't remember from where though.
Yes me sort of thoughts tool, just Ned to find bus to Failend then
-
Love a code for Millwall game if any left

Why do we not have lady's playing at the gate more. Been seen them when at the gate as easy on the no.24 bus. But I not sure there any easy bus routes to training ground.
Sorry my thought whilst unable to sleep

no conspiracy theory at all.
It's obvious. It's that bloody Ashton bloke again. He proberly set it up during his notice period.

I think it just the way NP works with the squad. We are not privy to what happens in training only what we see on the pitch. And apart from injury's it's what we will see over the season
-
Yes really disappointed by T today a real non starter for him and great by Williams hope to see lots more of that type of performance over 90 minutes as he gets his fitness back .
And a damn decent performance all round. And fair play to the crowd. I have been known to whinge about the gate not getting behind the side . And they got right on one today and made some good bloody noise
Wel done COYR

That game still hurts and judging by the reaction on here quite a few feel the same . The horse punchers will always have that over us and fair play to em . Would I rather we won it but had their history … no!!
Holloway loves to wind us up .
That's exactly it he loves to wind us up. He hates us as much as we hate him and the gas.

I guess even if Williams is out for a long time and Nagy leaves then we still have James, King, Massengo and Bakinson. Not terrible but not sure if we'd need to think about bringing in a new one on loan. Or I guess it might make Nagy leaving less likely.
What's Williams injury looking bad
