  1. Well no, because season tickets for kids for us are cheap and they get a shirt as well. The point about this offer is that comes after they realised no one was interested at 3x the price, and they are desperate to test the stand out.
  2. The group that sing it are in the Eastern end of the South Stand so.......
  3. Their history page seems to feature the word "relegation" a lot. I don't think it's normal to highlight that part of any clubs history.
  4. Rob officially joins the "fit squad" on the 28th. He'll need some minutes presumably but the next two U21 games are away and as a general rule they don't like to play returning players in away fixtures. Maybe he will get some minutes off the bench or in a behind closed doors game?
  5. Fantastic achievement by the Flyers tonight, reaching the Play Off's in their first season of European basketball. They have a 12 day break now before resuming in the domestic league, maybe they deserve a bit of publicity at half time on Friday night?
  6. I remember sitting behind a guy in what is now the Lansdown during the refurb, who started moaning about him from the kick off. He missed a couple of chances and was clearly not even close to match fitness, but he kept going and scored. When he was subbed, this idiot still had the audacity to stand up and boo him off the pitch. I told him straight what I thought of him and where he should stick his "support". A few weeks later I saw him walking to a seat in a different part of the stand and he sheepishly gave me a thumbs up.
  7. Credit? Well yes to a point, but around 3000 of them have disappeared when the going got tough, i.e. couldn't be bothered to walk up the road. While over 500 Exeter fans made a lot longer journey to see a team they haven't seen win away for months.
  8. Build it and they will stay at home, mumbling something about the weather...
  9. Why does it seem that the smaller the attendance gets the longer it takes them to count it?
  10. 15 shots at goal, not one on target, that's pretty special.
  11. Does it work for fans as well?
  12. It's picking up here in Posset, if the winds in the right direction it might test just how temporary that roof is :), at the very least it should make them realise what the pillars are for.
  13. Where is the incentive for the owners to invest in further improvements? That's a question they should all be asking themselves, but they're not because they assume that they will do it because they "love the gas, innit".
  14. Also gives the scouts a chance to look at these "others" that Widdrington mentions at a higher level.
  15. I assume what "El Presidente" might have said would be "It's only temporary and eventually we will be looking to replace it with one without pillars. However, if you look at cantilever stands, they require a lot more space at the rear of the construction, do they have that?
  16. Which is acknowledged in the deal surely? If we thought he was ready we would have been reluctant to let him return there on loan. I think the thing that makes this "punt" feel different is that this is a player that has been picked out by lots of others as someone who could make the step up, not some name that seems to have been picked out of a hat or on a whim.
  17. I think it's not so much we don't have anyone in the pipeline per se, more that we haven't produced a playmaker of note. They are the hardest to find.
  18. This made me laugh, after all the excitement and conjecture about 5 figure crowds, this is posted in their "guess the crowd" thread without further comment.
  19. No, I think you are right, I said in an earlier post that they would never admit it, but there are floating fans like students and people working in the area that will just go for their football fix. It's not like they priced it to compete either, wasn't a seat in their new stand about the same as walk up ticket to our game?
