  2. "8 men, we've only got 8 men" (and 3 subs)
  3. Potts must be thinking this International stuff is easy.
  4. It is Parkinson, like for like in bowling but weakens us a bit in the batting department, although the way this game is going that may not be vital.
  5. 2+2=5 (The Lukewarm) - Radiohead
  6. How often this happens, but a bit annoying that those who want to use these players leaving as a stick with which to beat the club or management, are so much slower to come on here and admit they got it wrong.
  7. Great first time pass by the player he had passed to.
  8. There are limits to the amount that can be awarded in that State anyway, so they are very much nominal amounts. I watched the last few days of this on when I came across it by accident on Court TV. I found the process of deciding the summing up the most fascinating, I never realised what a team effort it was between the judge and the lawyers. I think the Depp team were very good at showing how good Heard was at "inferring" abuse, the key piece for me was when they got Kate Moss to testify that she had fallen down some stairs and Depp had cared for her. Heard had suggested that Depp had pushed her down the stairs and that he had previous in doing the same to Moss. As for the only positive result for Heard, the jury had no problem with the idea that she had made up one of the assaults, they just thought that his lawyer at the time had overstepped by suggesting that she and friends had staged damage to the house etc. Whether the lawyer was repeating Depp's claims or this was his own opinion seems moot. Finally. I saw the usual suspects on the tv this morning saying that it was a bad day for victims of abuse, and I think they are right for the wrong reasons. They should be fuming at Heard, because her case was so clearly fabricated that it will make people question other cases.
  9. So keen am I that you should see this that I thought I would share this email with you. " This Much I Know To Be True directed by Andrew Dominik will be available to stream exclusively on curated film streaming service MUBI globally from 8 July 2022, after receiving its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival and global cinema event in May. A new clip from the film featuring Marianne Faithful was revealed today. Shot on location in London and Brighton, This Much I Know To Be True captures Nick Cave and Warren Ellis’ exceptional creative relationship as they bring to life the songs from their last two studio albums, ‘Ghosteen’ (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) and ‘Carnage’ (Nick Cave & Warren Ellis). In this document of their first ever performances of these albums, filmed in spring 2021 ahead of their UK tour, we see the two, accompanied by singers and string quartet, as they nurture each song into existence."
  10. W A P* - Cardi B "If you don't know I will let you look it up yourself. (Clear your history after though)
  11. Hmmm I have just "robinned" your post, is that a clue?
  12. Too simple, It continues "tree's grow in a forest, forests can also be called woods, Chris Woods last club was Burnley and he now coaches for Scotland. Ergo, Wilson will sign for Burnley and get picked for Scotland!

  14. Yes all made up, the company has been operating since 2006. One of their old directors was registered as home address in Lower Strode Rd Clevedon as well.
  15. I have just looked too and discovered that it was his first senior game as a striker, until then he had played as a half back (defensive midfielder in current parlance)
  16. The naming of such a merger would have to follow the same sort of lines as Solihull Moors. The Rovers can bring Bristol from their name and we can bring, er City from ours Sorry @LrrrAnd @Wanderingred we are not merging the lovely Posset with those numpties!
  17. I don't think I have ever seen any other records regarding Joe Payne, but I have often wondered how many goals he scored in other games against them.
  18. Merchant's story of going to Walken's house to pitch the idea would make a nice little short play in itself. He does actually seem to be one of life's eccentrics, rather than just acting like one.
  19. One that passed at the beginning of the month, but seems to have slipped through the net on here is Ric Parnell, who played the drummer Mick Shrimpton in This Is Spinal Tap. He also played in a couple of real bands like Atomic Rooster and played the drums on Hey Mickey by Toni Basil.
  20. Giving it all Away - Roger Daltrey
