I don't think we will but it will be a horrible season with no real highlights. Hopefully we can get a couple of decent loans in January to give us a spark

Well I'm quite disappointed that Nigel hasn't been able to sort this team out as I was thrilled when he came. Thought we'd be well drilled, organised etc . Still the same problems we've had for a few years now

They want to compete without spending money. Conte nailed on according to the press . He always wants money to spend & lots of it. Strange decision .
I saw an article about him recently. Doesn't tend to stick around at clubs and players get fed up with his methods and demands.

Any second now.....

Could any of the players step in assisting the coaching? Only 1 I could think of is Danny Simpson, maybe he was signed with one eye on that?
-
Out of the younger players then Britton is the one I'd have on the bench. Even just bringing him on for the last 15 mins when Martin is tired. At least he's physical so the ball wouldn't keep coming back plus he seems to have a goal scoring instinct. Obviously Pearson doesn't think he's ready but there's not really another option unless you want COD up top who offers nothing

Playing around the box is all well and good but penetration required!
Some box entries is a term I've before

Oh come on… you surely can’t think that Tomlin has been responsible with his money? Although in fairness I base this on absolutely nothing other than the few flashes of his character we’ve seen. I’d say he’s got to be fairly short odds at declaring himself bankrupt in the next 5 years, just strikes me as that sort.
I know he has invested in properties so he's been quite sensible. Major thing with him is fitness. While in Cardiff and probably elsewhere it was takeaways every night.

I have no idea about anything IT related but just read that Facebook is not just down but it’s completely gone - could this be true?
Yeah I've seen that. Lots of rumours about data being sold on the dark Web. I did get an email earlier from Microsoft saying my account may have been accessed and to change my password. Maybe coincidence

Maybe I'm missing the point but the goal didn't seem that special and he did pretty much nothing for the rest of the game.
Don't get me wrong I think Messi is the best player in the world but saying this is special when compared to other things he has done seems a bit hollow to me.
There wouldn't be a thread on here if Danny Welbeck had done exactly the same thing.
Was thinking the same. Probably see goals like that every week just in the EFL.

With the players they have from previous managers it wouldn't be easy to change the style of play I'd have thought. Would take a couple of years to get players in if cash is tight.

That first touch from Nahki was bloody heavy mind!
Was thinking that as well but good finish!

No command of the penalty area is his major fault

I'd actually bring on Kalas at right back. Played there over 60 times in his career. Surely a safer option up against that little tricky winger they have
I suggested this 10 mins ago after remembering he'd played there before. Joined us as we said we'd play him CB I believe
-
On the right back situation, didn't Kalas play RB in a previous loan?
Maybe an option if he stays

Ipswich, Sunderland, Doncaster, Portsmouth, Lincoln to come
Wow thats a tough bunch of fixtures. I did think they'd pull away but it's looking very likely they'll go down. Can't wait!

What would happen if say our goalkeepers all tested positive? We'd have to play a youth one?

Can’t remember I just seen someone put on here that the 2 lads that had playing at centre back were on about £150 week each!
I could be wrong though!!!I remember that being said by Clarke, don't know if it was that low but it wasn't much more

Should be somewhere sensible to avoid travel to London.
Villa Park? Was always a ground used for semi finals

Wonder if they'll still use Wembley to host the play off finals? Wouid seem strange having to crowd on such a big stadium

Appalling animal husbandry.
They seem to eat pretty well anything. Someone told me that Chinese have pet hens, pet chickens as in living with them in the hoke- dunno if that's true but their animal husbandry, their wet markets (is that the name?) seems to carry a significant risk.
I saw a video on twitter. A Chinese women found a birds nest and ate a couple of baby birds straight out of it. Utterly vile

Don’t know fella, but it seems strange to me that the source is not being discussed by the government or the media - there is more to this.
They do have a lab in Wuhan which questions were asked about safety back in 2017. I was taking talking to someone yesterday regarding not trusting China and wanting to crush the worlds economy for they're own gain.

Did Lee Johnson make a remark about the stories he could tell in an autobiography if he did one?
