    Thanks for explaining the background.

Although I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't got far more things to do than watch Netflix on a bank holiday.

I went to his first one in Bristol and it was great, but wouldn't go now as too big so walking is the best/safest option.

Haha yeah I've been out cycling every day and I've never owned a Netflix subscription. Unfortunately since lockdowns it's what a lot of people have gotten into their routines along with a just eat order!

That Man C team is finished. Been saying it for a while, thrilled that Keane referred to Haaland as a league two player, reminds me of the ex Luton striker Steve Howard! Touch and overall play is dire to watch, massively overrated, KDB also looks past his sell-by date. Think they need some new creative players. Arsenal are the future and can see them dominating for years.

Haaland is a strange one for that Man City team. Unless he scores he hinders the team. They were a lot more fluid before and could change things if it wasn't working. Haaland is rarely subbed isn't he? So it's usually just a change to the wide players, Doku doesn't really do much and Grealish doesn't have a great impact sometimes. They miss Mearez I think. Even Cole Palmer would've given them something different.

Why don't I need ' to get it?'

Please explain. There are people of my Generation in that video.

What does anyone gain from walking behind a bloke playing drum and bass?

Is it a feeling of belonging?

Just trying to get my head around waking up on a bank holiday and deciding to walk around Bristol streets following a bloke playing music on speakers?

Drum and bass has been around for years...so it's not a new thing or for the 'kids'.

Back in the day I used to watch local band Kosheen play regularly.

    Not being funny...just intrigued.

These events have changed since first starting. At beginning they moved at a faster pace so it was about getting people out for ride or jog while listening music, especially after lockdowns.

Even though it's a walking pace it's better than staying at home watching Netflix?

  4. I, don't think he's from around here originally. I'd guess the club gave it to him for some social media promotion.

Hes been doing these events for a few years but the last 18-24 months he's got really big.

He's a very good goalkeeper. Some of his short passes out to our defenders give me a bit of the fear though

In most games nowadays with managers wanting to play out from the back at least one short pass out to a defender results in a mistake and attempt on goal/ a goal.

  6. I'm a big fan of his and he's been a good upgrade over Bentley.

Like every keeper who isn't at a big prem club he'll have his downsides but for basic GK attributes he's very good for this level and no reason why we should be looking for another no1 over other positions. I don't think he's Premier league bound which is a good thing for us!

I managed about 3 minutes of this guy waffling on  before I had to turn it off,it's just utter guff coming out of his mouth.

Why the hell is he still in job, oh yeah because we have the incompetent BT and JL in charge.

I've not listened to one of his interviews since he joined and very few post match. With NP I'd listen to most as they were honest and interesting and without any buzz words!

To me it just shows what a mess we are in. Time will tell with the permanent signing of TGH but you can understand how his performances have picked up without having the contractual issues. But let's also not forget that at 32 he was never going to be the same player he once was for us.

It also kind of underlines that we are NOT fully utilising the talent we have in our squad and that's down to the inexperienced coach we currently have and the inexperienced technical director or whatever the title he's awarded himself this week.

We will lose a lot of experience come the end of the season in King, James, Wells and Williams as these players are deemed not good enough or too old and need to be binned off by people who frankly are not fit to tie their own boot laces. We are in big trouble under this current set up.

Probably what Manning, Tins etc want. Younger players who won't questioned what they're told.

Well let’s look at the FA Cup Quarter Finals for evidence.

Wolves v Coventry - exciting and unpredictable

Chelsea v Leicester - exciting and unpredictable

Man United v Liverpool - exciting and unpredictable

Man City v Newcastle - dull and predictable

if you were a neutral 3 out of 4 were great games, but the possession-obsessed game provided minimal entertainment. And that’s a big part of the problem. And it’s not a new one because that successful Spanish team from 2008-2012 at times looked as if they were trying to bore the opposition into submission!

I don't even bother watching Man city games as they're so boring. The Premier league was pretty much always exciting to watch certainly if it involved the top clubs, can't stand Pep and would love to see him manage an average team to see if he play the same type of football.

Warnock is available and I’d bite your hand off for a bit of the controversy, excitement and intrigue that would bring. I’m so bored of this club right now. A boring manager isn’t helping.

Wanted him for years. Just what we need.

People always go on about his negative football because he isn't tippy tappy, we got that now and it's boring as!

Haven’t watched & wont be. I’m not one for conspiracy theories at all , but I wouldn’t be surprised if Naismith has been too outspoken for some & wont play for us again

Thing is he'll leave, go to a decent team, play week in week out and be one of the best players in the championship

And there’s the problem! All the teams are similarly coached, so negate each other. The games got boring with every team trying to play out from the back/ false 9s , etc. What would happen if we played 442, with big bloke/ little bloke up front, and got the ball forward quicker? I’m pretty sure it would be more entertaining and more goalmouth action!

At the end of the day, the whole point of the game has been the same for 160 years. To score more goals than the other team! Does it really matter how you do it?

I've said something similar recently. Teams won't know what to do as defenders have lost the art of defending a bit. Only problem is wingers can't really cross now 🤣

We've got to be one the worst in the league for throw ins. We are so poor at a very basic part of the game that you have more than anything else in a match. No runners into space and invariably throw it down the line to a defender. I've yet to see a well worked thrown in this season.

This was said on a thread recently so tonight I paid more attention. Shocking! Worst is when it's thrown and bounces waist height

  14. I'm guessing it's because they don't want to lose possession so look for an easy pass. Can imagine if a winger tried to take on his man and only succeeds 1 in 3 and finds a team mate with the cross he'll get a bollocking and a high chance he won't be in the team for the next game.

I don't know if it's rose tinted glasses and all that but football over the last decade has become less exciting. Probably due to data etc

He’s incredibly dislikable , dull ,text book full of buzz words, represents all that is wrong with modern football for me.

This club needs a big character as manager as any of the limited success we have had in the recent past has been with a charismatic leader of men gj, cotts, nige (relevant success given the crap budgets he had)

Should've got Warnock at some point.
