Yes he scored 50 odd goals but he was here 4 years, played most games, took penalties. I'd expect most strikers with that amount of game time to score that many.
As I've said before he was slow, no touch, not that physical most of the time for a guy his size. Those months out in 17/18 when we had Reid and Pato forward kind of proved he hampered our play or certainly that season.

0-1 and we all know who will score

Give Andy King a go and review at the end of the season.
I usually wouldn't agree with such appointments but I actually think he'd do well.
Seems a likable guy, younger players like him and lots of experience and loves the club.
I'm guessing he's done the relevant badges?
But wonder if there's any hard feelings towards the board with the story of them questioning his inclusion in the team before Pearson left?

Plus, the more time LJ had on the training pitch the worse we got. Practically guaranteed to lose after every international break. Worrying similarities appearing.
No doubt overcomplicating things. Obviously don't have to players to play the way he has in his mind. Would need pretty much a whole new team certainly in midfield and attack which won't happen this summer.

If manning truly rates mehmeti then I wouldn’t trust his judgement with a transfer budget in the summer.
Nige wasn’t wrong in leaving him out he’s absolutely out of his depth at this level…a show pony with very little to show.
Perhaps he’s been very well behaved though when looking at patterns or some other nonsense
Was he a player Pearson actually wanted?

It's just like the LJ days. Some promising results then abysmal. Few buzz words as well to throw in

Couldn't get there today. Mark McAdam on Sky just said that Wednesday have scored against a Bristol City side that has dominated the early play. How many times have I heard that this season.
Guess dominating means passing around the back, midfield and back again?

I always got the impression he wasn't overly bothered. What happened to his Swazzy business he had?
I always had that impression. Maybe in with the wrong crowd?

On a side note, Premier League clubs have voted by 12 to 6 with 2 absentions to tighten the rules on associated party transactions (sponsorships and transfers).
One club is rumoured to be threatening legal action. You guessed it, it's Man City.
Would love it if they got relegated down the leagues like what happened to Rangers. But they'll just get a fine no doubt.

I remember during the development me and a friend were near so took a look. Think it was a Sunday and the doors to the south stand were open. So we looked inside and saw a guy working, he was like come on in! So we had a little walk around before getting caught

Not having a dig but has max ever saved a penalty?
Sure he did a month or so ago?

No not really. Seb got his chance really because of the moving of Conway and Bell into the first team set up.
The other day I said iirc the first time I saw him play for u21s was with Yeboah, in a very young line-up!
My memory wasn’t bad!
He has started a few u21s with Bell, but I can’t see any with Conway.
Ah OK. Just wondering if he'd be a good player for Conway to play off of/with.

I've said before that I think he could make it here. Remember him in some pre season videos a couple of years ago, maybe Austria or the USA? Scoring all types in training . Seems to have a bit of everything to him and he's a good presence which we're obviously missing.
@Davefevs you may know this but has Conway and him played much together in the youth teams?

Do we as fans actually want possession football? Last season we were a counting attacking side and Pearson said at the start of the season that we are moving from a counter attacking team to a more possession based.
From a personal note the best football I’ve seen and enjoyed watching City play was under Danny Wilson. At times it was possession based but it centred around getting the ball to Brian Tinnion and then his raking 60/ 70 yard balls straight to the feet of Scott Murray to run on to who would more often or not then either outpace / skin the fullback and either come inside and shoot or go down the line and put a cross in. It certainly got me off my seat instead of the sideways football not going anywhere I’m seeing today.
Our current style reminds me of England when they lost to Iceland. Teams will just sit back and hit us on the counter as Leeds did on Friday. We are to predictable.
Same here regarding the football under Wilson.
Would that be described as direct football? I'm no fan of possession football, can't stand watching Man city.

Makes me laugh how we all of a sudden have a "budget" now Nige has gone after not being able to bring anyone in when Scott was sold in the summer
I said on another thread after Scott had been sold that SL was probably keeping the funds back for the next manager.

Hope he signs off with a title. Like the bloke and brought lots of entertainment to the sport/PL.
I said to someone last month that I think they'll win it.

When the Rent Boys bring up 1982 I’m more than happy to remind them that City have won more in the past 42 years then they’ve won in their entire history.
I replied to a Facebook comment exactly the same recently.

He's from Weston, didn't realise he's Polish?!
I was thinking the same, because it's certainly not Elijah Morrison as suggested by our Twitter account.
Sure I remember some news article about him as I live in Weston

Always remember him being decent on an old championship manager game from the late 90's whilst at Stockport and kept an eye on his career since then.
I had feeling he'd be a decent signing for us but didn't expect him to score so many!

Absolutely none of them live in Saudi either, they live in Bahrain, to escape the horrific laws and regulations against gay people/females.
Some ‘allies’ aren’t they, where they are so passionately wanting to stand against everything Saudi represents, that they ‘fight from within’ so strongly they don’t even ******* live there.
Pathetic.
I've recently spent a couple days in Bahrain, couldn't imagine living there as it's so boring.
