  1. Can they? Only 2 players scored more than 20 in the Champ last season and neither of their clubs have managed to keep them.
  2. I suppose we should also sign them on a pay as you play deal and revert to 442?
  3. Very exciting then! Could have some great striking options next year
  4. What sort of player is he? Looks similar to Conway in physique from that video
  5. Problem was we did this with Semenyo a few years ago and stifled his development for 6 months.
  6. Think that’s what they call a slam dunk - all those calling us lacking ambition have no idea of the footballing landscape outside Bristol City.
  7. Luton are such an exception. They were and still are in dreamland and completely defied expectations and overperformed. It’s incredibly harsh to compare.
  8. Sometimes the most productive relationships are between those who don’t see eye to eye or agree on everything. If everyone in a business agreed about absolutely everything they would get shafted when that opinion turns out to be wrong and nobody saw the other side of the coin! Opposing voices add balance to the situation, it is far better now than the LJ days.
  9. Signed for Burnley for £4million last summer, so I don’t think it’s unfeasible they would be looking to recoup a large amount of that if not selling. If there is no chance of a permanent deal (including loan + future transfer), I would rather us stick to our current policy and not repeating previous mistakes for short-term fixes.
  10. I hope we don’t sign any again journeymen like this on the way down. Would much rather look to the academy and strengthen elsewhere.
  11. I don’t think you just go out and buy a player who can dictate the play in the same way that Scott can.
  12. We will stand out with our awful kits when we win the playoffs, master stroke if you ask me.
  13. Especially with the amount of money they are demanding for Caicedo.
  14. I'm not convinced Bournemouth is the best location for Scott. He will know that in 1 more season his value will be a lot less and he may well have a lot more suitors than one of the relegation favourites.
  15. He was involved in over 40% of our goals last season up until he left!
  16. I honestly think he was in the wrong role. He would have been far better in a strategic role rather than man management.
  17. Ironic saying that Pearson doesn't have the magic anymore when they never had any!
  18. Doesn't really seem to be the case though for Alli does it? Where he has clearly had a lot going on in both childhood and adulthood which has seriously affected his mental health...
  19. Is that because it's a doughnut the baker needs to add an extra 0?
  20. Very much appreciate the post and opinion. I do remember hearing him and these two stories on the radio, very much a character! As a Scot do you see him as a manager? From only seeing him on the touchline, I feel like a lot of people’s perception of his managerial potential is based of his footballing career/character, and not based on his managerial attributes.
  21. Seems likely it’s a disagreement with the board then. As someone who did not grow up watching him as a player, I’m failing to see the fascination with Big Dunc as a manager.
  22. You'd imagine the club would offer to double his wages with an agreement that he can leave next season for a set price.
  23. At least we can draw a line under this now. He's signed for Weston-super-Mare.
