Seri was linked to Barcelona the year before he moved to Fulham. Only 30 years old, and no disrespect to Hull, but what a fall from grace.

I think Cundy leaving has probably rescued his City career. He will be the backup centre half that Cundy was intended to be. The lad is still only 25, has good availability and most importantly, is CHEAP cover. If we get rid of him, we would have to spend more getting another player which from a business perspective, would be a big no bueno. I imagine Pearson will want to keep him until the end of his contract (next year?) and then see if Towler or Idehen look a bit more ready.

Why? Who was the last one who did well?

Would have been a moderately okay half…. If we could defend set pieces…. Which we can’t…. -

Great composure by Semenyo to get a head up and put it on a plate for Weimann. Certainly something he has improved on from last season where he was physically very impressive but often lacked that cutting edge in the final third. -

Corrected, hard to see from the small highlights video. He will have learnt his lesson from this Pring. -

I can’t see why Tanner is blamed there, he didn’t stop the cross but the guy crossed it to Pring with nobody around him and Pring has headed it back across goal… -

Another point further from relegation… -
Yesterday I went to see my hometown Bath City vs top of the league (and fully professional as far as I am aware) Dartford FC. Dartford were pretty convincing and won 3-1. Marlee Francois, playing as right wing back in a back 5, showed some glimpses in the final third of the match when the Romans were chasing. Looked as if he would benefit from playing a bit further forward with more creative licence. Josh Owers was pretty anonymous against a Dartford team who were streets ahead of Bath in reality. He only joined on the day of the match too so perhaps not the best game to judge him on.

Think it will be a loan with a view to permanent rather than to develop into the first team.

Semenyo is our most creative player and is not a striker. I can’t understand why he is being called out for a lack of goals when he is still learning his trade and is still our most creative player from the wing. Martin is actually a striker and currently offering neither goals or assists. -

The most creative player in the team contributing the most assists. Have a day off. How much worse would we have been without him in the team? If we are basing strikers just on their goals then we should drop Martin, Semenyo and Fammy and just punt it up to Nakhi Wells as clearly he just scores goals irregardless of the support around him. He had an off day today, but so did most of the team and most of all, so did Dean Holden. -
I think many people seem to forget that central defenders generally develop a lot later than other players. I think Moore and Vyner are exceptional young players and will still develop a long long way. Most central defenders seem to hit their peak towards the age of 30, these two are only 23 and are fully pulling their weight in a team that is currently second. Yes they may make mistakes, but so do all central defenders, especially those under the age of 25. Look at Cardiff’s Curtis Nelson, Vyner partner at the back when they were at Plymouth for example, was knocking around several years in L1 with Plymouth and Oxford before being picked up at 26 and now from then has been a regular in the Championship. Patience needs to be given to these young defenders, who will only get better the more they play at this level.

Considering Kieffer Moore stands about 10cm above Vyner and 13cm above Kalas, i thought they performed pretty admirably.

Nottingham Forest v Bristol City Match Day 40
marcofisher replied to havanatopia's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
This is what happens when you have a 35 year old journeyman who is about to run out of contract playing ahead of an £8.5million signing on a long-term contract. Would Kalas have done that? Absolutely not.
