Heard an interview with him on the radio about it. While not confirming he’s interested he by no means dismissed it. All the pundits reacting to it suggested that if Wolves came knocking he’d be gone.

We seem to have done well against some of the teams above us, Blackburn, Luton and Preston. This years Championship seems very open. I don't really feel any less confident playing Swansea and Reading than playing Middlesborough and Watford next month who are below us.

He was brilliant last night. I hope we can keep him fit. Think we will see King coming on a lot for James after 70-80 mins just to sit in front of the back line if we are looking to hold on, and and attacking sub for him if we are chasing a game. He is crucial to dictate tempo from the start.

Swift, Diagana, Phillips, Jed Wallace, even Livermore. All players who at the start of the season would be far above the level of player we could afford/attract to this football club. They look rudderless as a team yes, but all of those players would get in our team.

Zak for me, thought he did the simple defending so well and always seemed to be there to intercept or break up the play. Although, the same could be said of all the back line.

Zak has received a lot of flack over the years for his performances. So I think it only fair to balance it out. I think he was our most impressive defender all night. Kept it simple against a physical centre forward and a very good winger in Diangana at this level. A few misplaced passes here and there, but he is not Maldini, and never were any attempted in any situation that would cause danger. What I loved most, is how much he seemed to enjoy the art of defending. Really glad he has turned his City career around and proved a lot of people wrong. He is a very useful player to have in the squad, so I hope he will be staying with us for a good while.

Max’s distribution and ability to put it to the feet of a player on the half turn is so much better than Bentley’s, who can’t really do the latter.
