I think many people seem to forget that central defenders generally develop a lot later than other players. I think Moore and Vyner are exceptional young players and will still develop a long long way. Most central defenders seem to hit their peak towards the age of 30, these two are only 23 and are fully pulling their weight in a team that is currently second. Yes they may make mistakes, but so do all central defenders, especially those under the age of 25. Look at Cardiff’s Curtis Nelson, Vyner partner at the back when they were at Plymouth for example, was knocking around several years in L1 with Plymouth and Oxford before being picked up at 26 and now from then has been a regular in the Championship. Patience needs to be given to these young defenders, who will only get better the more they play at this level.

Considering Kieffer Moore stands about 10cm above Vyner and 13cm above Kalas, i thought they performed pretty admirably.

Nottingham Forest v Bristol City Match Day 40

This is what happens when you have a 35 year old journeyman who is about to run out of contract playing ahead of an £8.5million signing on a long-term contract. Would Kalas have done that? Absolutely not. -

Most don't jump from that close, easier to go under than over. -

I can perhaps see it being cancelled. If a handful of key players refuse to play, it could have drastically different effects on results and viewer figures too. -

And this happens all around the world, particularly in areas which suffer from extreme poverty. Calling a race of people “scabby” because of living in these conditions is ignorance. The virus could have emerged from anywhere. -

And what do you propose for the overpopulation of China, which all these other factors inevitably stem from... a mass cull? -

PL representatives are in a meeting right now according to the main news outlets. You would imagine this weekend will be off for the Prem at least. -

Ditto, just waiting for the news that Villa are going to start on minus 30 points when they get relegated! -

Agree wholeheartedly! It’s sad that it has taken Derby to beat Middlesbrough by a point for someone to finally take action, when there was clearly so much wrongdoing before. But at least someone has taken the first step in this case! -

Why should they? They paid their players millions of pounds a year, whilst keeping within FFP constraints, to try and get to that position and were pipped to the post by a team who seemingly bent the rules to gain an advantage over everyone else. Imho if there is a case to be made then Steve Gibson should take it as far as he possibly can. It is about time someone stood up to the EFL and Derby, where the sale of their stadium last season and the signing of Rooney this season absolutely stinks. -

See if we had released our team sheet in formation order we wouldn’t be 1-0 up already ? -

Pisano played CB against Plymouth to then play LB against boro and then moved back to CB against QPR. Opposition could have based their set peices and tactics on such factors. -

Eisa could be nursing a knock or a strain. Let’s not throw our toys out of the pram yet! Happy with the starting lineup overall even if I would’ve started O’Dowda over Watkins.
