I'm happy to give Pearson plenty of credit and am fully appreciative of some of the things he did under difficult circumstances but after two and a half years i think the time was right to go, again this is only my opinion and i appreciate fully and i understand why some people have the opposite opinion

To be honest I really don't know what Manning has or doesn't have yet but like it or not he is our manager so i'm willing to give him a chance and a bit of time and get behind him, the good games have been good and the bad games have been bad so much the status quo of the last five years, since xmas i've really enjoyed a few games (the 4 cup games, Cov' Middlesbrough, Southampton and even Ipswich the other night, the bad games were atrocious as were many games under NP (i still break out into a cold sweat with our away performance at Reading last season)

I remember that 0-0 Leicester away game, they absolutely battered us, I think they ended up getting relegated with a crazy 52 or 53 points

He’s had a contract on the table a good few months before NP left and he didn’t sign it, this paranoia that every little thing that goes wrong is down to Manning is crazy

Agreed, but like Scott and Semenyo, if another team higher up the chain comes calling offering to quadruple his money what can you do

Maybe, personally I hope he stays but it looks unlikely, apparently there's been a new deal on the table since last summer

If he doesn't sign new deal then he's got to go if someone offers big money, if it's just a case of a Million or two I'd keep him here

Yet you think we played well at Cardiff !!! They are in second place mind Dave and unbeaten at home for six months, if you don't rate last night's performance I dread to think what you think of some of the rubbish we've had to put up with over the last five years

That makes a whole 19 minutes then out of 100, for the rest of the game we were better or at least their equal, you must be a right laugh at a party

I doubt if anyone is celebrating in fact I expect the majority is gutted we lost but most of us recognise a good performance when we see one

Come on people, irrespective of people’s opinion on Manning/NP no one can deny that was a very good performance last night, as a rule when playing away against a top two club we barely raise a glove
