  1. But Lampard would have been suited to our club? Sorry, i can’t take your post’s seriously anymore
  2. To be fair there was only one sister there but it always brings a smile to my face when I hear ‘I’m in the mood for dancing’ on the radio
  3. When I think of Torquay I think of over-turned police-cars, the Nolan sisters and boats !!!!
  4. My god i didn't realise you wanted Lampard, everything's becoming clearer
  5. DK was a real handful but not really a City fan though he did go to the odd away game, good to have with when in town on a Friday/Saturday night !!!
  6. Diedhiou scored a very dodgy last minute penalty at AG about 3-4 years ago
  7. Should never have been dropped Should never have been dropped
  8. I agree to an extent Dave, some of this baz-ball is brainless, a mixture of both styles would do me, on another note the Aussies v Windies game last week was fantastic, would love to see the Windies back to their old glories, the ‘70s & 80’s teams were unbelievable
  9. You mean they don’t play up the UWE anymore?
  10. Test cricket is more entertaining than it’s ever been, it knows it’s had to adapt, the days of Boycott batting all day to be 70 not out (all singles) have thankfully long gone
  11. Not sure about that, prince’s fish paste was pretty pungent especially near its “sell by” date
  12. I remember what it was like to be skint following the City Ralph, I remember going to an away game on CATS back in the late 70s and opening up my fish paste sandwiches, that didn’t go down well !!!
  13. The bloke i knew with 4 fingers was known as 80 pence
  14. Personally think Harris will keep them up, he suits Millwall down to a tee, let's hope i'm wrong
  15. A lot of a Southmead/KW rivalry at the time which once spilled out at a game
  16. That name is a blast from the past, wasn’t there a well known City fan called ‘tank’ around about the same time
  17. Very lively on Ashton Road and on the park afterwards
  18. Can’t you band of losers have your own little forum where you can cry into your cider together
  19. Haha, must of been the highlight of the day being as we lost, i remember as a 12 year old singing to the Blackpool fans "Back to school on Monday"
  20. You've got some memory, i remember going to Blackpool in April '76 the same day Red Rum finished second to Rag Trade in the Grand National, Man U beat Derby in the FA cup semi final 2-0 and Cambridge won the boat race . I think Cashley let another one go through his legs as well !!!
  21. Probably the best in my many years of following City, one of those players you almost expected to score when he lined up a free-kick
  22. I'll give you Kallis, up there with the other three though (certainly Stokes and Flintoff) all about opinions though
  23. To be fair probably Jacques Kallis with his 300 test wickets and third in the all-time most test runs scored behind Tendulkar & Ponting
