  1. Agreed. The Lansdowns treat us all as punters - nothing else. We will always turn up to watch City, in their eyes. Treated as complete idiots. Reminds me of the Glazers at Man U. The walls are finally closing in on the Lansdowns. There is no connection with the fans, don’t think there ever was. Don’t forget Bristol Sport is a business and Bristol City FC is an “add on” to the biz. Just crazy what is happening to the football club. We need new owners with a connection to the fans. Lose against Swansea and it will be toxic down AG. Perhaps it is about time in order to get change? Really fed up.
  2. You produce a lot of good stats which I read with interest, but why do people at the club take no notice at what is going on ? Find it all really frustrating. Can only assume a buy out is planned, hopefully soon. This season is gonna get very toxic quick. It just can’t continue.
  3. Always supported City, but we need change at this club asap. Never thought I would agree with you, but it is the only way to get change to happen. This can’t go on.
  4. Agreed, Manning has lost the players. Obvious to most.
  5. Precisely. The Landowns will f”ck off soon (I hope), but this football club will continue. They have put us back 10 years probably. But there is a future after the Lansdowns go. Just so depressing to see the club going backwards so fast. Get out Lansdowns!!!
  6. Somebody else said the same to me a few weeks ago. Coppell was right.
  7. He should never have been employed by the Lansdowns. Joke appointment. Sacking Nige P was a complete farce.
  8. Well said spudski, the Lansdowns need to f#ck off NOW. Killing this football club.
  9. Just sums up the sh*te show at AG in recent years.
  10. Most on here have learnt to ignore all the bull sh#te Zippy and Bungle spout off to the fans.
  11. Agreed, get rid of Zippy & Bungle. Joke of a football club.
  12. Post of the day. . At least most City fans are waking up to the shambles of an ownership the Lansdownes have delivered. Lansdownes OUT!
  13. The Lansdown dictatorship of Bristol City is very similar to Putin’s dictatorship of Russia. “Question me and you are out!”
  14. I’ve had enough of the Lansdownes. Complete chaos from owner/Board level downwards. Getting rid of Nige P was the final straw for me. A defeat next Saturday versus the Welsh will be the final straw for many others. Bring back Nige P.
  15. Rabbit in the headlights. Nuff said.
  16. This football club is rotten to the core. Can’t believe how many still support the Lansdowns.. Shambles for years. **** off Lansdowns.
  17. Out of his depth and complete novice to Championship football. Typical Lansdown appointment. **** off Lansdonwnes.
  18. Reliably informed that NP stood up to the “Board” (joke) and hence fired. This club (Bristol Sport joke) is a complete and utter shambles. Don’t be fooled by all the bull sh#t, Lamsdowns don’t have a scooby doo how to run a football club.
  19. Thought I was right. Proper carnage next day. Couple of Millwall fans I knew at the time said it wound um up proper. Miss the 80s, proper football compared to the plastic stuff today…
  20. Until the Lansdownes go, nothing will change. Get used to it.
  21. That was the night before the “famous” match at Cold Blow Lane back in the 80s. All planned. A local Bristol boxer was fighting in London IIRC the night before. So a few who will remain nameless, decided it was a good idea to utilise some yellow spray cans around the Old Den. Did a good job to be fair. The game the next day was the most dangerous football match I have ever been to - just nuts that day. Bristol City had a decent mob back in the 80s. Well respected by most. Think Lumber covers some of the story in his book.
  22. If my memory is right, Watford had a few black guys in there lot who could look after themselves. As stated, they gave it a good go, but that was a good mob of City that day. One black Watford lad was a massive lump of a geezer IIRC. Great days watching football.
  23. The Millwall turnout at the Charlton game at AG was part of a long running feud between “certain” City fans and Millwall at the time. There were several clashes away from AG with Millwall that went unreported by the press at the time which I am not going to disclose on here, but those ITK will know.
  24. NP was the best manager down here for years, that there is no doubt. No resources or financial backing offered by Lansdown. Lansdownes need to go.
