  1. Most on here have learnt to ignore all the bull sh#te Zippy and Bungle spout off to the fans.
  2. Agreed, get rid of Zippy & Bungle. Joke of a football club.
  3. Post of the day. . At least most City fans are waking up to the shambles of an ownership the Lansdownes have delivered. Lansdownes OUT!
  4. The Lansdown dictatorship of Bristol City is very similar to Putin’s dictatorship of Russia. “Question me and you are out!”
  5. I’ve had enough of the Lansdownes. Complete chaos from owner/Board level downwards. Getting rid of Nige P was the final straw for me. A defeat next Saturday versus the Welsh will be the final straw for many others. Bring back Nige P.
  6. Rabbit in the headlights. Nuff said.
  7. This football club is rotten to the core. Can’t believe how many still support the Lansdowns.. Shambles for years. **** off Lansdowns.
  8. Out of his depth and complete novice to Championship football. Typical Lansdown appointment. **** off Lansdonwnes.
  9. Reliably informed that NP stood up to the “Board” (joke) and hence fired. This club (Bristol Sport joke) is a complete and utter shambles. Don’t be fooled by all the bull sh#t, Lamsdowns don’t have a scooby doo how to run a football club.
  10. Thought I was right. Proper carnage next day. Couple of Millwall fans I knew at the time said it wound um up proper. Miss the 80s, proper football compared to the plastic stuff today…
  11. Until the Lansdownes go, nothing will change. Get used to it.
  12. That was the night before the “famous” match at Cold Blow Lane back in the 80s. All planned. A local Bristol boxer was fighting in London IIRC the night before. So a few who will remain nameless, decided it was a good idea to utilise some yellow spray cans around the Old Den. Did a good job to be fair. The game the next day was the most dangerous football match I have ever been to - just nuts that day. Bristol City had a decent mob back in the 80s. Well respected by most. Think Lumber covers some of the story in his book.
  13. If my memory is right, Watford had a few black guys in there lot who could look after themselves. As stated, they gave it a good go, but that was a good mob of City that day. One black Watford lad was a massive lump of a geezer IIRC. Great days watching football.
  14. The Millwall turnout at the Charlton game at AG was part of a long running feud between “certain” City fans and Millwall at the time. There were several clashes away from AG with Millwall that went unreported by the press at the time which I am not going to disclose on here, but those ITK will know.
  15. NP was the best manager down here for years, that there is no doubt. No resources or financial backing offered by Lansdown. Lansdownes need to go.
  16. Charlton Home - H&C incident for those that remember. As mentioned, Millwall were there in good no.s also. AG was lively that day.
  17. Tomlin away at Fulham!!! The rest is history.
  18. To beat sides like QPR who park the bus, you need some quality to break them down. We have very little. Fact.
  19. The club has been run as a basket case for years. Nothing ever changes at AG.same old, same old……
  20. As many have mentioned on here, if only Lansdown had spent the Scott money wisely. Play offs would have been a realistic possibility IMO.
  21. Was the “call” when we went away. Some on here will know what I’m on about.
  22. Bristol City (Sport) is a football club lacking that bit of business expertise/ambition to get us in to the Prem. Too many accept mid table (including the Lansdownes) as “success”. Which is why we need fresh blood at the top/new owners with some knowledge of football. Several opportunities have passed us by IMO.
  23. Just don’t get the coke heads at footie nowadays. 6 pints of Natch is far more effective. But then I’m old skool….
  24. New owners. Lansdownes out! Fed up with all the bull sh#t they spout off.
  25. This club is going backwards. Disappointing.
