What's the train situation for tonight?
I usually catch the 5:11 train from Taunton to Parson Street, is this still likely to be operating and on time?
I usually catch the train home at 10pm but I notice that one's not showing as running so I'd have to catch the 11:11 train which is the last one home. Miss that or it gets cancelled and I'm stuck in Bristol.
Anyone know any updates on rail travel?

Was absolutely gutted to hear the news Saturday morning
Have known Ron for many years not just through football but personally too, such sad news especially as it was a sudden passing.
He leaves behind a young daughter which is even sadder
RIP

They are rolling out the carpet again, literally? Why anyone would want to play on a surface as horrible as that in this day in age is mind boggling!
Probably slows the pace of the ball

The club said on the last update that due to postal problems they would not be posted out and needed to be collected in person from the ground
Like all other away games they will be made available to collect at the away ground so nothing new in this really

TAKEN FROM: https://www.sportbible.com/football/masters-football-is-officially-returning-to-our-tv-screens-20220220?s=09
In a piece of news that will no doubt delight millions of fans around the world, we can officially reveal that Masters Football is coming back to our TV screens after an 11-year absence.
The popular six-a-side event will include former players from Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United, as well as legends from both Celtic and Rangers in the newly launched 360 Sports TV Masters Cup.
Paul Scholes, Steve McManaman and Wes Brown will likely feature in the competition that will be staged at the Braehead Arena, Glasgow on July 8th.
Masters football, which is for players over the age of 35, was successfully screened by Sky Sports between 2000-2011 and legends like Ian Rush, Ally McCoist, Roy Keane, Matt Le Tissier, Bryan Robson and Andy Cole all featured.
Now, new sports documentary streaming site 360 Sports Television have taken over the mantle. In fact, plans are already in hand for a full, major tournament with regional heats next year (2023).
The tournament in Glasgow over the summer will boast the same iconic blue carpet, featuring four teams battling it out over two eight minutes halves - with the top two from the group then battling it out in a final.
So what is the newly launched 360 Sports TV Masters Cup?
The sports documentary streaming site has been set up with the Brighton midfielder Adam Lallana, former Celtic manager Martin O’Neill and his former Nottingham Forest teammate, Tony Woodcock.
Two-time European Cup winner Woodcock. who is a director and co-founder of 360 Sports TV, can't wait to get started.
“It just feels fantastic to bring Masters Football back to life," he said. "It has real history and there’s been a tremendous buzz over social media recently with petitions to revive the tournament."
He added: "I played in the first ever series of Masters Football which immediately caught the attention of fans up and down the country who delighted in watching their heroes from the past showing off their skills once again.“Now I'm so thrilled to be playing a part in bringing this iconic tournament back to the viewing public with live coverage of this brand-new event on www.360sportstelevision.com"
John Warrington, who is the 360 Sports Television founder and producer, has a few tricks up his sleeve to keep today’s demanding audiences entertained.
He said: “Having been involved with the production of the first series of Masters Football and presented the highlights version on Channel 4, this has definitely been a 360-degree journey for me and it holds very special memories."More recently, I produced the Masters Football Remastered series for Amazon Prime and the incredible viewing figures left me in no doubt that there remains a huge appetite for Masters and we just had to bring it back.
"360 Sports TV is a sports documentary streaming platform but if there is one live event which would be a match for us and our audiences, then it is undoubtedly Masters Football."

It’s between Highbridge and Bridgewater still on its way to Taunton at the moment, and showing cancelled for the journey to Bristol. So that’s me out of attending today.
The service after it, is behind this service
Imagine one will go non stop the other will be stopping

Trains from the Bath side appear to be starting at 10.38 and fairly regular after that, not normal service but not bad, very limited from Oldfield Pk tho, normally a fair few City use that station.
Keep an eye on this

The good news is that checks have started albeit very very slowly across the region checking out the lines.
It's now a case of seeing what is found

The are currently NO TRAINS currently running in the region
GWR have announced that they will be checking every inch of track in the area to ensure it is safe and clearONLY then will they start to run any kind of service.
Obviously trains and staff are going to be in the wrong place to start with.Minimal service not expected to start before 10am, but by mid afternoon it is hoped a near normal service will be running
I'll update later when I hear anything more
