Not sure how the Post stirring up violence makes for a good article but whatever floats your boat...
When someone constantly looks for a reason for a dig at Pearson they will share anything

How are you measuring this gap getting smaller out interest?

Thanks for the replys,
but I recall some one said in the past about the last game Bristol City played at Griffin Park.
They were in the Griffin pub and watched the Brentford v City game as they could not get a ticket for the game
Maybe the pub had a commercial subscription as well as a domestic home subscription, and thats what they were using.
Good old VPN airways I expect

A relief of sorts.
When I read that he had ordered two Thai masseuses earlier that afternoon, I feared some quite awful revelations were going to materialise.
Totally agree with you, especially as supposed "leaked photos" were showing that he was not alone in his final hours
It would have been an awful lasting legacy for a true sporting legend

Ladies . If your hubby to be turned up for the big day in a pair of trainers , wouldn’t you be slightly concerned he was planning on legging it ?
I understand they are having another ceremony later in the year
I am guessing this was more registry office kind of event, but the other maybe will more "traditional" attire?

Correct they never had the facility
But bar contracts can open the channel listing, scroll back from the last channel and the red button games all appear once broadcast has started

Anyway bottom line is, people can moan on here if they want but based on that article and the complaints on here, the situation- nationally and at AG- has been a while in the making and will probably take a while to turn round.
It isn't just football though, society has gone darker since the lockdowns
There are more problems in and around bars etc now.
We had a young farmers convention in Weston over the weekend just gone, they caused mayhem all around town, with multiple bars being vandalised and fights etc in the streets

During the Manchester Derby play was stopped for another medical emergency in the crowd. At the risk of sounding unfeeling, I’m not a fan of these increasing stoppages due to one fan taking ill. Of course, if there’s a genuine crowd safety issue then the game needs to be halted but where it’s one fan I’m not convinced it’s necessary. Of course get them the medical treatment they need ASAP. But no need to stop the game in a crowd of 50,000.
I was chatting about this to a friend over the weekend, the only thing we could think was that because the pitch side medical team are the ones who tend to treat those injured in the crowd, if any serious happened to a player then there is not the required medical staff available

Their goalkeeper made a great save on the first half and I was about to post something about how that's an area that has improved in the Women's game. Then the 2nd half highlights came up .......... the least said about her performance there, the better.
Shocking goal keeping and the ball bouncing over the defender for Morgan to score was a real shocker too

This isnt specific to us but all football crowds and I admit its just a minority but the hypocrisy shown by some idiots is ridiculous.
Yesterday we had
Applause/tribute to Ukraine : Applause
Take the knee: Applause
62 minute: Applause for fan who has passed away.
All these displays of affection for human beings but when a player celebrates in front of us all sorts of objects are thrown /flare thrown yesterday/hooliganism in the park and stands etc
I know its only some idiots but quite a large number of idiots. I wonder if they're aware of their own hypocrisy?
Completely different scenarios and nowhere near comparable

My poor chap comment was slightly in jest as you are correct in what you say, I was sat a few yards away in A block and he was a complete bell whiff with the Billy big balls attitude. Wasn’t he rumoured to have been from Plymouth?
He was indeed from Plymouth
Turned out he had a not so perfect record for instances at Leeds games

No segregation in rugby so it is very different. If there was none in football we would see a number of fights every game
Possibly incomparable then, but police and security at Ashton Gate will tell you there are just as many problems at the rugby
Maybe compare to rugby league?

I find the sad part of this people saying he deserved to get a beating? No one in life deserves to go out for the day and get beaten up.
People say Rugby is different, it really shouldn't be, if anything it highlights the mentality of a few football fans.
Rugby certainly isn't any different.
Those in authority at Ashton Gate will tell you there are just as many problems at the rugby

Why should they need to be respectful? You should be able to celebrate your team scoring without fear of a hiding from thugs sat around you.
If they're not supposed to be there let the stewards and/or police deal with them, no need for fools to take the matter into their own hands.
So if an away supporter started celebrating then starts swinging punches at an elderly home supporter you would do nothing?
You think it's acceptable for an opposition supporter to celebrate in a home section? Absolutely baffling opinion

Section 82 are throwing objects every game it seems. Maybe it was a mistake to make that area, as it just attracts louts.
The Dolman fighting is embarrassing. 8 on 1. So ruddy bloody brave.
Certainly wasn't 8 on 1
Thats just what was shown on this footage
5 supporters were removed
24 minutes ago, And Its Smith said:It certainly is a minority that will end up ruining it for the rest. Surely some self policing can be done. Did anyone have a proper pop at the guy who threw the can? Plenty would know who did it. Clearly there is no deterrent from within 82.
Absolutely correct, the chap is a lucky man today as many were trying to get him and his friends to leave but he kept acting like Tyson Fury

Also, i believe (but do stand to be corrected), he unleashed a barrage of punches at an older guy which started the actual violence?!?
Was still acting like a ***** when being taken out by the stewards.
That is correct.
The Birmingham fans were originally asked to leave their seats, this lad hit out one of our supporters, which created this reaction
Like I said above there have been away supporters around us all season but vast majority are respected and don't act like an idiot

Have Sky put a block on red button games being shown in pubs?

Definately now available - was in a bar in Weston recently with a QPR red button game being shown, but only became aware of this recently
BBC red button channels used to do the same, not sure if that is still the case
