  1. Since 2016, we have championed Twenty’s Plenty. However, despite our best efforts, very few other clubs in the Championship have followed suit in their pricing strategy. That has resulted in our travelling fans routinely paying well in excess of £20 for the privilege of watching the Royals on the road, while opposing clubs’ travelling fans have all paid £20 or less to follow their team to the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

For clarity’s sake, clubs are only allowed to charge away fans the equivalent price that they charge their own supporters in a comparable section of their stadium. So by keeping matchday ticket prices so low at Reading, we have also been committed to keeping prices for visiting supporters at the same level.

In 2022-23, adult matchday ticket prices will, in some sections, be elevated slightly above the £20 mark – meaning we will now be permitted to set the equivalent price to away fans.

However, every Championship club will be given the opportunity to offer their fans £20 tickets when their team visits RG2…but only if they commit in advance to a reciprocal arrangement for our loyal away fans in the reverse fixture.

Not sure about heading balls but the risk of another elbow or whack to the head could be far more serious...

This is a much more realistic problem, I would also imagine it is a very delicate scenario in getting the best for Baker

There are not many footballers (or sportsmen) that retire due to a an injury like this and can imagine that there will be a large amount of publicity not only around the way we handled him throughout but also the bigger risks in sport will no doubt be massive news as well.

Just my personal opinion but I would be very surprised to see Baker in a football shirt again, but as he has another year with us there certainly isn't any need to rush any process, especially is getting him back on a pitch again meant he was more seriously injured in the future

Yes, I wasn't a fan of his music but I do think he is a really sweet guy.

Funny you say that, I watched a video last night of him listening to a lady busking and then spoke with her after, thought I couldn't imagine many people being like that.

When he was with KP he was often around Weston as his legal team were based here, I'm told that he always had time for anyone that treated him civilly

We have a WhatsApp group? FFS nobody told me! ;)

I set it up many years ago for us based in Weston because most Saturday mornings I would get the same message asking if the train was on time, where were we going for a pint etc etc, so it was easier to all chat in one place

Over time we have added friends that we go to home and away games to

Not as local as some of the teams mentioned in this thread but Chippenham have just won their play off quarter final against dartford and are now two games away from the national league . Would be huge for them if they went up and played teams like Oldham and notts county .

Just saw they won 3-2 on penalties after a goalless draw

Ebbsfleet away on Sunday now to play the winners of Dorking and Oxford City

Might be nothing in it as he's been there before as assistant manager, but Fleming has been seen out with Hartlepool chairman.

Source,  good friend who has family connections in the North East

I'm guessing it was a mutual friend in our WhatsApp group? ?

Some of you on here seem to love attendance stats, so here you go:-

Assume Bradford would be top for the home crowds?

I hope they are monitoring social media and getting an idea how many plan to go and have enough ticket windows open and enough stewards to open extra areas if needed. I’m wondering about parking as the likes of wickes probably won’t have any plans to accommodate.

Judging by the fact the recent womens game at the ground was advertising the high sales for weeks / days before the game and on the day the club were massively under stewarded and also caught out with only originally opening one entrance I would say that there is a very high chance things will go badly

Personally I would get there in plenty of time if you want to see kick off

Could someone please advise if A8 disabled section is open on the evening, I've messaged Jerry SLO with no response,

Excuse my ignorance but I am not familiar with the numbering for disabled areas, but if it is at the front of the lower Lansdown stand then yes it will be open

I know Jerry is very busy at the moment, no doubt he will pick up your post shortly

P.S. Having said that, it looks like the ignore button isn't working at the moment.  @phantom ?

So the answer until it works again ? is just immediately scroll on whenever you see their names.

I believe @TomF is working on something behind the scenes at the moment

  12. Who would have thought

    Somerset 10/0May 12th, 11:15

Early signs here detect a slow pitch with not too much on offer for the bowlers, with Chappell and Higgins settling in with the new ball. Matt Renshaw has played one rather flashy drive that scewed away past backward point for four.
