It's the Dolman way!
If only it was just the Dolman stand - pretty much most of the ground recently

What was the outcome of this?
They played the season to a conclusion but got absolutely hammered most games
Finished bottom of the playing teams though Whyteleafe officially finished bottom but they pulled out of the league
Staines finished with a MINUS 95 goal difference after conceding 127 goals (in 36 games)

The thing I'd criticise Southgate for is that he didn't just play a shadow squad and rest the players who needed a rest.
Likes of Kane, Sterling, Mount, Rice, Saka, Maguire, Walker and even Pickford did not need to play any of these games. Even Alexander Arnold and Foden should've been sent on holiday and told to have a proper pre-season.
The likes of Phillips, Trippier, James, Grealish, Coady, Abraham, Bellingham should've been the main players for this with others like JWP, Timori, Bowen and a few others given more gametime.
It would've been better in the short, medium and long term. He's messed up strategically with his planning.
My concern is a lot of our main players will pick up injuries early in the season simply because of fatigue and others will arrive at a very condensed tournament tired and not at their best.
If I were an EPL manager I'd particularly be looking at Italians, Hungarians, Norwegians, Swedes, Ukrainians, Egyptians to sign. Any country not at the World cup basically because those who do make it are likely to be spent 2nd half of the season. The others will have had a lovely break.
Many countries will only be playing 3,maybe 4 maybe 5 games
Not going to impact on anyone that greatly
What will be interesting and I don't know the answer is what clubs will do during the world cup break. There's no way they won't play games as players will lose sharpness etc

Forgot all about part two

Yep, but our useless manager kept him on the bench all night while practically every other midfielder/striker played some part
The simple answer is he knows what Grealish brings to the team so didn't need to ha a look at him tonight
The others were playing for their places

Put it this way, did Kane need to play his 57th game of the season tonight ?
Especially as all that has been spoken about is what do we do if Kane is injured

It's an odd feeling sometimes how seeing your side come unstuck is oddly satisfying
They'll get loads of abuse as more of a fans night at the game rather than day trippers with their face painting at Wembley

Sir Gareth walks on water with the FA. No chance of him going before we embarrass the country at the World Cup.
Problem is, he has a decent tournament record

We’re the boos for maguire or the Southgates decision then ?
I'd imagine a combination of both
You know in December when Harry is lifting the trophy we'll look back as the turning point

People need to relax a little. Only 5 of this team are in southgates first team and it’s come at the end of a long season
Exactly this, it's shown who won't be on the plane

I understand your point and agree with you, but bet the answer will be that they all had to be set up by a set date to ensure payments all came out at the same time.
Otherwise I guess there could have been higher amounts (less months to pay in) or even a double payment to start with.
There would always have to be a cut off date so guess this is why?

I understand that the game at weekend was behind closed doors so was irrelevant really where it was played, but how on earth did Wolves get awarded a full England International fixture?
Even odded that the women play there Thursday night, or maybe they were awarded tonight's game if they hosted Thursday nights game?
Thinking about it, almost as random as Leicester hosting the charity shield

Since we are talking about rail,
Don't travel by train on 21, 23 and 25th June,
There will be a limited service across the country due to coordinated strike action
and the dates in between as the trains will not be in the correct starting locations

A bowler short, getting hotter in the outfield - it's set up nicely for the last session

He is saying Downsy only got the job because he's gay. Not because he's the most talented. That is unfair, he does not know this at all.
I guess to be pedantic nobody can say either way

FWIW Harry
I’ll stick my head above the parapet - I saw your comment as a different way of saying what you’ve said above
World War 3 erupts and a pack jump when you say anything that’s anything that even resembles anything not in line or politically correct in their opinion
Dont lose any sleep
Im not sure if there will , or won’t be positioning of people for the WC but on recent evidence you’d have to be surprised if not
It’s no different to the modern assembly of football presenters and pundits , if anyone thinks everyone of them is in a position because they are the best available pundit , then good luck
Whatever happened to the best person regardless of sex , colour , sexual orientation , or religion etc getting the gig -
Somewhat old fashioned I know , but that’s the absolute definition of ‘equal opportunities’ .........isn’t it ?
Ditto to everything that you have said above
I know @Harry and know many others on here do too, for those that don't know him take my word for it he is the last person that would post something to the way many have misunderstood his post
I guess part of reading something is that it can be taken out of context or not fully appreciating the tone is was written
Just to add one other thing, my money is that Downsy isn't actually going to be working in Qatar, he would be outsourced by some entertainment company doing corporate work rather than working for FIFA etc
He isn't my cup of tea what he does on a matchday, but clearly there are those that do appreciate and like what he does for the football and rugby clubs, reading some of the comments they are a bit personal, but we are all entitled to our opinion

They were somewhat disappointed that there was no jerk chicken or freshly cooked crepes available. However, the facilities were of a very high standard, and the young uns enjoyed watching the ladies play - which was the whole point of the exercise, so - mission accomplished.
If they came along to a mens game when the full stadium is open they could get those dishes and much more

Will be a massive loss to Cheltenham
Duff has advised the board of his intentions to leave
Looking likely he'll be the new manager at Barnsley

53,000 Sell out this afternoon (12th June) @ London Stadium Celebrities v World XI for UNICEF.. On ITV . Two interesting managers Harry Redkapp v Arsene Wenger, and a chance to see some stars of the not too distant past Results currently stand at 5-5. One thing it won't be is a bore draw.
I'm intrigued how many other countries raise money like this for unicef
