We've finally got the most experienced and solid manager we've had in ages. Clearly knows what he's doing, but unfortunately has inherited an awful squad sliding down the league, and has been given a rebuilding job over 3yrs, during COVID so there's little cash available. And yet people seem to want him gone 2 league games into the new season. Some of our fans are a joke. Give him a fair crack of the whip! Honestly! COYR

Just hope we can get some cash for him. Either way it'll free up wages from an area we are well-stocked in. A bit sad he never really made it for us, clearly a good player in there just not a good fit for us I guess.

No need to panic with just that result, but would quite like a new striker and winger in. Maybe someone on loan could work? So pleased for Alex Scott, and Pearson seemed to have confidence in him in the post match interview. Although that's a marked change from last season, were he said repeatedly that we shouldn't have to rely on youth players and they should only come in when it's easy for them to play and less pressure. And yet here he is starting Alex Scott in the first game of the season? I don't mind at all, and think it's great for Scott to be honest, but just noticed that was a marked change in stance from Pearson.

Some positives for sure, would have been an interesting 2nd half if Williams wasn't an absolute moron. Watching the replay, I counted 3 red card offences in about 10 seconds? Maybe he just wanted some time off!
