Yeah mine seems to be, only realised when they were getting a bit excited for a throw in  -

Looks like Scott is predominantly the one playing at the base of the diamond. Benarous dropping back too though quite often. Interesting. -

I think will be a 433 with Massengo doing most of the dropping back rather than an out and out "front sweeper" role that Williams played. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Scott and Benarous off at half time. At 8:30 they have to go get a bath and go to bed as have school in the morning. -
I think Scott is the most likely to stay, just because he is SO young and just signed a new deal with us. Wouldn't be surprised to see any of them go though, sadly. I would say Massengo is the most replaceable; quite a few options for championship level CMs, whereas a striker to replace Semenyo would be much more expensive, and a position we are not that strong in.

You're right, but if he says he wants to go it becomes quite hard to get as much as we'd like

Is there any chance we keep him in the summer?

Wonder if we'll look back on this period as actually a really good bit of man management from Pearson?

Great 3 points by the sound of it. Might actually bother to tune in to EFL on Quest later ? I'm trying so hard to focus on enjoying Semenyo while he's here, but hard not to think about where he will end up! -

Can't watch the game; what position is Sam Bell playing? -
I'm not sure his point was just about the selling. It was more the fact that our model seemed to be spending too much on wages, and that put us in a position where we had to sell our promising young players. It's inherently unsustainable. You'll reach a point where you don't have enough good young players to sell and be stuck with a squad on high wages. Glad he says it like it is; our club has been in need of some outside and experienced perspective for years.

Just glad to not have a gambling sponsor to be honest. Never felt comfortable enough to buy that shirt. Never heard of huboo before so their money's already doing some work I guess!

Feel sorry for Klose Could be a very unnecessary tense end to this game -

Can't remember last time we scored minutes either side of HT. Feels like it always happens to us though! Lovely stuff -
So happy for famara, must feel amazing

Seems harsh to me, but it's Sunderland so I'm not surprised. Sunderland is such a weird job for a manager to take; if you get promoted then you won't get much credit as it's "expected" and if you don't get promotion then you're branded a failure.
-
Come on fam, go and win AFCON ?

Sadly he won't be here forever, but I'm hopeful that he stays for another 2 seasons perhaps? He has thrived under Pearson so he must have a good level of respect for him, and his family are now based in Bristol. Seems to have a very professional head on him so hopefully he won't just jump at the first opportunity for a fat payrise.

I remember there was a post on here from a Leicester fan when he was appointed basically saying that it would be a bumpy road at first, with changing formations and personnel, and inconsistent results perhaps. But overall that things would be moving in the right direction until he found out who his players were, and overall there would be a big change in mentality. They were so right.

He seems a lot closer to being an "instinctive finisher" than the one we bought in Jan 2020 ?

Goals scored after the 90th min are still worth the same as goals scored before then, last time I checked. (I do get your point though, but I think this point has been made to death)

Win as a team, lose as a team, draw as a team. Cam has been a real positive this season.

So awful, hope Greenwood gets what he deserves and the young lady gets the help she probably needs. Makes you wonder just how many incidents happen without being reported though, which is terrifying.
