Ridiculously impressive for a 19 year old. It's not like he's doing this in League two or one, he's dictating the play and changing the momentum and transitions etc in the championship. Will be very proud to watch him in the premier League one day. On another note, Weimanns running looks like he's in an action film; like his life depends on it!

Definitely agree with this, needs an appeals system and they have to state why (so can't just say "something bad might have happened somewhere". Let it be either the manager or captains call. Limit on how many appeals per game or half.

Exciting stuff. The opinion of other fans who had experienced Pearson at their clubs was that he would build a solid team spirit but it would take time. And here we are.- 486 replies

Lots of reasons to feel optimistic about seeing a good performance and result today, so naturally I'm incredibly nervous now! -

Being able to rotate our strike force between Conway, Wells, Martin, Semenyo is going to be very luxurious isn't it! When was the last time we had a group of strikers like that? -

Two 2-0 wins at home in a row?! Bananas! -
Happy to have a manager who speaks his mind, and says what everyone is thinking. Has been around the game long enough to be a respected figure so his opinion carries a bit of weight (and has enough spare cash for fines!)

Proud to support a team where we give our own academy players these opportunities. A lot of clubs where it simply wouldn't happen. Lovely interview too!

All those reasons people were excited about this season haven't changed in 2 games. Long time yet. (It was still quite shit though tbf) -

Was a bit disheartened seeing the score yesterday, but after seeing the highlights I think we were just quite unlucky (yes I know you "make your own luck" etc). That penalty was comical; you could literally see when he decided to fall over. And then the losing goal was a crazy deflection. Not too worrying at this point, and seemed like a few of our new players looked pretty good. Credit to Zak Vyner for that assist too; great commitment. Would love to see him do well, would certainly help us out positionally! -
Looking forward to listening!

I would love to be as optimistic as OP, but I think anything above about 14th would be good. We are rebuilding still really (although have sorted out a lot of issues form last season). Optimistically I think we could get as high as 10th. It is the championship though, so anything can happen.

8 years younger than Dan Bentley. 5 years younger than O'Leary. Feels like some long term progression planning here (if he's any good). Very intrigued to see how good he is, but always so hard to tell with keepers I think.

Happy for Alex; should be very proud. I'm sure he'll remember this for a long time! Also just out of interest, here is the England squad who won u19 euros back in 2017: https://www.thefa.com/news/2017/jun/26/england-u19-squad-for-euros-260617

Imagine being a 17/18yr old in our academy watching Alex Scott on TV playing for England. Inspiring.

The golf courses in LA are probably a bit more enjoyable than Cardiff to be fair.

SLs tenure certainly hasn't been perfect but in a world where we could be owned by someone we never see, a country with horrible human rights records, or simply run into the ground and potentially losing the club; I will happily take Lansdown. Certainly don't think he's as good as he could have been, but who is? I guess I'm just saying careful what you wish for.

I reckon he'll stick around for this season, but anyone's guess after that. Very intrigued to see how Pearson deploys him, and how often.

We must have paid so much money for that one good through ball he did
