Sign him up. Thought he was excellent today. The little through balls he was playing we have missed massively.
I agree-
Although you will have to work harder to convince @Davefevs

Being at the wrong ground would explain why they haven't got any shots on target yet. They are shooting from 200 miles away.
Now that's what you call non direct fire

Well, not the English PL anyway. Maybe the SPL. Can’t help but think the continued Rangers links have substance, and as someone on the fringe of the Scottish team, that may well interest Tommy.
I don't buy into the idea that because Tommy is giving himself a chance to play international football via the Scottish route, means he will necessarily be keen to play domestically north of the border..

Tommy ain't going to be Premier League bound so maybe the grass won't be greener - or the wages that much higher.
He's no mug so he'll think long & hard about options/overall value of those options & not just monetary.

Got forward to good effect too. I do wonder if Manning will persist with a back three next season with Vyner, Dickie and Roberts.
When Atkinson's back I'd hoik Vyner out of there...

Agree Twine better, but still not worth £5m, if we could get him for £2m then yes. Remembering we have signed Stokes to play the ACM role.
Forget Stokes for now-
Needs to work plenty of oil into that wooden leg of his.

Last night at times was a joy to watch and although Blackburn were woeful at times, give credit to City's press forcing the errors. If the press didn't happen, then the defenders would have had time to clear
High press.........not low block ....

Should we be worried someone will come in for Max in the summer?
Currently rated top for shots saved % for Champ GK who have played over 23 games this season.
Games Played: 41Shots Faced: 168
Save % 75.6
Huge respect to Pat Mountain for sticking by him and willing to give him chance when Bentley left.
@Davefevs any chance of a chart to compare other keepers in the league please?
Not as good as Bentley...

I hope plans are being drawn up to give Rotherham a small section of the away end over by the Lansdown, so we can give at least half the Atyeo to City fans.
Last games of the season are usually popular so we have a real opportunity to increase the attendance due to a very small away support.
A drop in pricing was a real opportunity...

I'm not sure we've ever had a manager who was so widely considered to be dull and robotic and yet had his every word analysed to death as much.
I can't listen to it,, can't bear it-
I just read you lot dripping about it

There are so many on here who are still so in love and obsessed with Pearson that they will never accept any other manager, and they will search to find any reason to criticise that new manager rather than give him a chance. Pathetic really.
Well, Liam will certainly get his chance- he has the summer to hone the squad & the method.
If he gets the boot before next season is done it'll be for very good reason, as Lansdown certainly doesn't like a light trigger.
We'll see how 'sensible you are if he gets the chop.

I think that's the thing though. It's been heavily weighted to implying that "coaches win matches, players lose them" since the turn of the year at least. Three games unbeaten (and Max saving us from a tanking in two of them) may have given him a chance to relax a little, but sadly I've no faith in him to offer anything different moving forward as soon as we start to concede again.
And yes, I accept writing him off with seemingly no chance of redemption may be harsh, but I genuinely believe his tenure has been that bad. The quicker it ends the better.
I'm seeing good ( not enough) & bad..plus a fair bit of indifferent - I'm also seeing that Liam is certainly no tactical master.
The earliest now that you could hope to wave him off will be November..

I'm really concerned if the clean sheets are down to coaching, our defending has been shocking at times and we literally gifted opportunities to the opposition. On another day vardy would have had a hatrick.
Correct.....and should we continue with such "behaviours" a thumping won't be too far away.
