Sacked by MK Dons in League 1
Wasn’t at Oxford anywhere near long enough to make a real judgement call
lost 10 in his first 21 here
They are basing their assumptions on what exactly?
He has come here with a very similar pedigree to Lee Johnson and look how that turned out .
They are basing opinion of Manning on what they watched last night-
One match.

Keep your powder dry-
Manning will be gone sometime this year....
Sadly it will be dear Jon recruiting his replacement!
It's unfortunate that Tinnion won't be leaving with him imo.

The level of work rate shown feels more important than points for me tonight, even with only being 6 points off the drop.
If the boys aren't willing to run through brick walls after the last few performances, I'll be very worried about where we're heading under Manning.
Quite agree Jim..
We are all complaining, and rightly so, about the Lansdown's, Tinnion, Manning's questionable tactical acumen - the general shit show.
Now the players need to stop moping, pull their socks up & show a bit of determination.

I think Jon's outlook is completely wrong. He goes along with the theory that it's best to say nothing. I don't agree
If you haven't anything worthwhile to say, keep your mouth closed.
Maybe this is Jon's outlook?....

Well could have to beat Rotherham at home or it could be down to Stoke away last game; before that its Blackburn/Sunderland/Plymouth
And it's now not just the football -
It's rapidly becoming a mental game as we gradually get sucked in.

Glad to hear buses are running in Emersons Way. Yes fairly deep on my side road but nothing compared to what I experienced when I lived in Kent where a shovel in the boot was a necessity in Winter.

Manning doesn't believe in fight. Or emotion of any kind.
If this is what he really believes we have bought ourselves a lemon

Wouldn't that mean that their academy would have better facilities than their 1st team?
Yes - and surprisingly logical.
The considerable stimulus for young players there will be to avoid a playing career at the swamp...

A minimum 4 wins so we better the 15 we have achieved in each of the past 3 seasons.
16 more points to better last season's 59
So from 12 games that's 4 wins 4 draws & 4 defeats
Anything less is abject failure and should lead to exiting Manning
Should but won't
Next season will be a bumpy ride!
tommys not happy?
