Glad to hear buses are running in Emersons Way. Yes fairly deep on my side road but nothing compared to what I experienced when I lived in Kent where a shovel in the boot was a necessity in Winter.

Manning doesn't believe in fight. Or emotion of any kind.
If this is what he really believes we have bought ourselves a lemon

Wouldn't that mean that their academy would have better facilities than their 1st team?
Yes - and surprisingly logical.
The considerable stimulus for young players there will be to avoid a playing career at the swamp...

A minimum 4 wins so we better the 15 we have achieved in each of the past 3 seasons.
16 more points to better last season's 59
So from 12 games that's 4 wins 4 draws & 4 defeats
Anything less is abject failure and should lead to exiting Manning
Should but won't
Next season will be a bumpy ride!

He’ll fit in great at Bournemouth
He's a long way off of Championship standard so don't worry about Bournemouth for now....

It is pretty clear they fell out with Nige. I really like Nige but it's not uncommon for him to fall out with his employer. Lansdown struggles with "spikey" types. It was an accident waiting to happen really (but we're fortunate Nige got us in much better shape before it did).
And about to be pissed up the wall.

I’ve no idea what was said at interview but I sure as hell wouldn’t take a job where my boss was telling me one message and telling my customers a very different one that didn’t tie up and ran the risk of throwing me under the bus.
BT/JL clearly stated to us customers that this was a top-end championship squad and things should be better NOW. If Manning didn’t agree with this, he should not have taken the job.
Slight of hand, collusion or Manning not paying due diligence -
We'll never know.
If it's the latter I'll bet he's mulling things over now

I must admit when posters say we will end up mid table and we are playing this poorly I do wonder. Strikers that are simply not fit for purpose, lack of creativity in midfield and now shipping goals with some poor defending. And a lack of fight. I will be very happy to finish mid table but think we will keep sliding down the table.
Would say finishing the season 12th/14th would be very welcome, even unexpected after recent appalling performances - with the stupidity of obviously unfit players in the side/squad thrown into the mix adds a rather dark aspect - I'm pointed in the direction to feel something is very, very wrong!
Fingers in Manning's head coach pie (if you'll pardon the expression) cannot be ruled out,and if correct will be playing havoc with him mentally & privately he will be hearing alarm bells..a situation the more aware of the playing staff may well have picked up on.
My gut tells me all in all they ain't a happy bunch at the moment & it shows.
Right now I'll be happy to stay up.

When you make comments like this it helps us if you explain why you think this, what you see as having improved. That is your prerogative to see things your way…and although we might disagree, it is only our opinion also in response.
FWIW I think he’s improved some aspects (the press / block) but he’s regressed on other things (our true build-up creativity).
The regression will be if he's still here in 15 months from now

Quite agree although we know that won't/can't happen- bring it down to a basic level he doesn't have the balls to step aside & the old man wouldn't allow it even if he did..

Even if they did sack him(they won’t) you just know we’d end up with a similar type of head coach who the hierarchy could manipulate!
Manipulate -
It's what they do

We will stay up by the skin of our collective teeth this season.
If we want to even survive next season (let alone top six!) Then the only option will be to get him out the door.
Up to today I had feelings of sympathy with the bloke but those feelings are rapidly eroding.

There is no way that this run of results would’ve been acceptable under Nigel Pearson. After all we are told we have a squad which should be in the top six and we are currently 12th and falling. Only nine points above the relegation places with two defeats in succession against bottom three sides. At this rate even if we avoid relegation this season I can see us being in a relegation battle next season, particularly if we lose the experience of James and Williams in midfield. It seems that there is one rule for NP and the another rule for the replacement.
Bide your time-
He'll be history before the year's out.
