Bloody hell Dave,,,quite a prospect!....have you had 'a tickle with this one - or a gut feeling akin to Montezuma's revenge??!

Great post & nails our current situation. I feel we will be walking a tightrope over the next two years as regards Nigel walking,,or just as likely falling victim to the blinkerdness of those holding the reigns -;whom may react to fan reaction of those without the vision,,patience or desire to face the facts of the mess we are in - or fall victim to their self inflicted frustrations. As you say either result would be disastrous.

But only if the online payment at the end of the process allow you to pay.... all I get is "ticketing system being updated"..... I'll now give it a raincheck.

West Bromwich Albion at home match day thread
Son of Fred replied to Jerseybean's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
seems Nigel's ensuring his excuses are in early by pointing to our obvious set piece issue - and that our defenders are absolutely unable to stay with their (designated) man.... Shocking on a number of levels - one being, if so, how daft must the players be if in a set piece situation they're unable to have a quick look & identify their 'man'???......and then track him??........questionable? And why can't between them Pearson & Fleming put this(in the main)to bed???....it ain't rocket science & to use this as a pre match excuse is shocking & I believe Nigel to be shooting himself in the foot big time.... -
A microcosm of the way BCFC is run..

Great that he's staying... Although we also badly need some pace..

They do indeed.. On the rare occasion I have a 'flutter' I do so with my head,,not my heart... And in this case one just can't lose!?
-
A very good point... An imbalance that needs correcting. Trouble is any player in that 25-29 sweet spot whom is doing the business at this level - or clearly capable of doing so wont be cheep,or even free. Some clever recruitment & who knows even a spot of scouting is What's required..

If you want something to look forwards to,,go book a holiday - we need,,all of us to be stronger than that... The position we're in is down to rank bad leadership from the top over many years & was never something that could begin to be addressed short term.

I agree,,very dour and can lower your mood for sure...and all thanks to Steve for allowing junior to 'oversee,,acting with great naivety,,nigh on childish decision making for a man of his calibre & completely taking his eye off of the ball in the process - something we shouldn't lose sight of now were 'paying the price. He's the one wot done it. Whomever our manager is(currently of course Nigel)will be tasked with what is a root & branch overhaul,,requiring the constitution of an ox....so we as supporters need to be mindful of what it is we wish for & that short termism',,in mind & action won't cut the mustard - however, resetting in league one is not I feel a sensible option. Christ,,its a mess but we need to hold our nerve & keep our chins up.

Well,,,so whats it like being on the wrong end of a rollocking from GJ??... ?

Looks out of shape for a player at this level....saddlebags.
