They will literally not use any excuse to deflect attention away from what’s actually going on at their club.

I think it’s probably my favourite stupid thing they’ve done. Top 5 at least. Less distraction and more idiotic delusion that anyone would be remotely interested in what a 3rd tier, badly run football team would think about the referendum result. And the “statement” doesn’t even say anything, it’s a non-statement.
We should have a vote on the funniest thing Rovers have done over the last 5 years.

Someone from Rovers should give Spurs a ring asap as they probably also didn’t realise they needed planning permission.

Sad little club being left behind in the dark ages. Just look at the place. What a disgrace. It's laughable that some of their fans criticise other grounds when their place resembles a refugee camp in a scrap yard.
I would be ashamed to watch football there.
Then there's their small minded bitter fans who get more satisfaction when we lose as opposed to when they win.
I am quite enjoying that our under 23 team will soon have a (much) better stadium than their first team.

I also got the email. I thought it was a mate winding me up and had been planning my revenge. Glad I found out before. Wonder what’s happened there then?

Oh and henbury gas has just suggested that they rename their stadium to the Edward Colston Memorial Stadium.
Honestly didn’t know the guy could get more stupid...
Serious?! Is that for real?!

Probably suffering with the same cold/flu I and loads of other people have, I have never been so unwell, coughing blood every morning atm, horrendous.
Mate some advice (I’m a doctor) - please don’t assume that’s the flu, go see your GP.

They are being incredibly good sports. It is fun to enjoy the rivalry and banter, but times like these you can stand back and say 'fair play, I hope we would be so magnanimous too
I sort of feel we represented Bristol as a city last night so fair play to the blue few. Think we showed what Bristolians are about.

Can’t copy it but has anyone seen that video placed on FB yesterday of pathetic gasheads all in Christmas jumpers singing:
”City, wherever you may be....you ain’t got no history.....you were born in 1982...that’s why no-one’s heard of you...”
Rovers wherever you may be, you only joined the league in 2015, you got tents for stands and 6 fingers on each hand, the most embarrassing club in all the land

Mate this is superb work, I’ve been waiting for someone to do this. I was going to have a go myself but lack of technical skill and time got in the way. If we can combine it with league position and away attendances then we should get some billboards printed up for Gloucester rd. end of argument

Still think it's utterly bizarre to have an open top bus tour for winning the conference playoff. Particularly so considering not many of their fans were actually bothered enough to go to Wembley and they consider themselves to be too big to be in the conference in the first place.

Has anyone managed to graph the gap over the years? I did have a go, but got stuck when they changed the number of teams in each division and my excel skills aint that great.
Then we could make a monument of the graph
One graph with final league positions and average attendances would be great

We have the 3rd highest attendance as a percentage of capacity in the division.
Surely this just means you have a tiny ground. Not exactly something to boast about.

The idea that the Rovers can be successful by catering for fans looking for "nostalgia" seems a bit odd. We've been in our home for over 100 years where as they've been at the rugby stadium for about 15 years.
