Next season they’ll be a small fish in a big pond and if they stay up they’ll get my admiration.
I’m sure your admiration will be the highlight of their careers.
Olympic level arrogance, conference level insight

As with Salford. There's no ffp in non league and they will.be hamstrung the second they go up and won't be able to overspend
True although their income is massively above most in L2 (and probably L1) - big sponsorships from huge multinationals (TikTok , Expedia etc) and big gate receipts.

Is it for sale? Jon Lansdown needs to get on this and buy it for the museum we were promised 7 years ago

Not sure the “official email” is needed at the top, as Rovers have already cornered the market in scamming their fans.
I got this too. They’ve nicked a city contact list haven’t they?

Remeber watching a Premiership Cup rugby match on BT a few years ago, the Dolman was shut because it was a low crowd so they filmed it from that side and it looked miles better.
There was a camera at the back of D block but I’m guessing it was only used for replays rather than the main one then? I definitely agree the club should think about this, the current position looks rubbish on TV both for watching the match and how it makes the stadium look.

That’s a lot of fans all coming to BS3. If the local & national government were still wondering about the need for a rail station at Ashton gate you’d think this would persuade them

Sort excuses the fewers make. Half term should mean more kids there. If your a city fan why would you care about Man City v arsenal
Fair comment, I agree and will be there but I’m pretty sure there’ll be many less than the Norwich match (forgot to add no mates rates tickets too).

Ye anything can happen! I just have that Gary Johnson era confidence at the moment especially at home hoping the crowd is as good as it was Saturday
Numbers at least will probably be well down. Half term, Wigan won’t bring many plus Man City v Arsenal is on Amazon at the same time. Just means the rest of us will have to make twice as much noise.

It’s not just the commitment, it’s also the nouse to realise as soon as the ball is past the wall he needs to get back and make the block. Most players in a wall will just watch it sail over their heads. It’s a great bit of play.

First half James was mom. Makes all the right decisions, calm, hard in the tackle. He was excellent

I can totally understand plucky non league clubs embracing their ramshackle grounds and the romance of playing there for over 100 years. The gas celebrating some fantasy glorious history of hoofing a ball across a cabbage patch surrounded by some decomposing wig wams since 1997 is just pathetic. “A long time” **** off you cretin

Anyone else remember that long long thread on the Millwall forum a good few years ago. Started by a fan having the same problem of thinking his seat wasn’t available, but still hadn’t grasped it about 10 pages and a whole load of hilarious posts later.

I know they recommend printing the ticket 'just in case' but you really don't have to. Scans off the phone at the turnstile just fine.
Yep, I’ve never printed them off and it’s always worked at the scanner

£10m for a bottom half League One striker that no-one outside of North Bristol has heard of. They lap up this shit.
This is unhinged. Is this one of their coaches? He sounds like a work experience kid

If managed well then a good cup run can help your league form, gives confidence, improves morale all around the club. The key is not letting it become a distraction which Pearson seems to be well aware of. Luck also plays a role with injuries etc. but overall I don’t think it’s as simple as league v cup.
Also whilst the league is of course the most important thing, provided we stay up not many people are going to remember anything about our last few league matches whereas a classic cup tie can live in the memory for decades.
