Selby will win this fight. Warrington has little power and Selby is by a country mile the superior boxer. It might be an unedifying spectacle though tbh.

Absolutely stunning. He just moved up another gear in the tenth- after getting up off the canvas too. What a body shot. I agree though, that's as big as he can go. We have to start talking about Loma in terms of the best boxers ever now imo- and after 12 pro fights! It's a bit like Messi in football, we're just lucky to be watching this level of boxing.

In all fairness I thought Hughie looked a different class to Sexton. His footwork was excellent and he looked a lot more aggresive than in his last few fights. Possibly his best performance, albeit against limited opposition.

McRae is a great boxing writer. Have you read Dark Trade Owl? It's the best book ever written on boxing imo. A Man's World is also fantastic. Not long until Hughie for those with insomnia.

I've just been reading a bit more about this and it looks like only good news for UK fans. The 16 US shows are all being broadcast on Sky, and all the of the cards are starting at 1800 US time- so New York shows will start at 2300 here! Even Vegas shows will begin at 0200, so much improved. They also provide Sky with 16 domestic fights a year too, so we get 32 cards a year from Matchroom. They are going to need an awseome stable and it looks like Terence Crawford might well be one of the first to join. You have to give Hearn credit, if he pulls this off he will essentially run boxing- and he seems to be using mainly risking Perform Group's and DAZN's money rather his own to do so.

Seems a LOT of shows-16 in the US per year for 8 years, plus the Sky deal here. it's unsustainable surely. @Tomarse not long now...

Tbf mate he ate 5/6 proper power shots from GGG, I'm not sure how many people would cope with that haha. The uppercut that was the beginning of the end was magnificent, then a 5 shot combo to close the fight. Martirosyan had never been stopped before either. Gennady is noticibly slowing down a bit imo, the inactivity at his age is doing him no favours. That brutal power is still there though, can't wait for him spark Clenelo right out in September!
