Only armchair premier league fans choose their team.

Don't know if it's been covered already but Rovers fans had to queue outside the ground for Chelsea tickets. For my colleague at work that meant taking half a day off and driving 20 miles to Bristol, to queue for a ticket with no guarantees of getting one. It's 2016! I couldn't help but tell him how I secured my Newcastle tickets from a sun lounger in Majorca. We moan about our ticketing system, often justifiably, but it could be a lot worse!

"Unlucky to lose" was the clincher for me. The opposition scored 3, they scored 1. I don't think you can play the luck card when you've lost by two clear goals. Talking about their "great team" and "great signings" while refusing to give any credit for the quality we have added this summer was also pretty special. He also talked about "cementing" a place in the league....I'd say "peg down" would be more appropriate.

More of a leaflet I think.

Indeed. Cluttered and dated. It's not at all clear what it actually spells. In fact the top loops of the 'B' and 'R' don't appear to connect all the way around?!

Not going to tonight, but drove all the way to Taunton for T20 on Wednesday and they called it off 5 minutes after I arrived. Cricket's annoying like that!

One of which was only necessary because he oversaw your failure to get a point at home to Mansfield Town the previous season. I am happy to recognise how well Clarke has done in achieving successive promotions, but you would get more credit if you at least recognised that he contributed to the relegation in the first place which has enabled you to be promoted twice. I acknowledge that he was not solely responsible having only taken over in March. However, Rovers were 20th in League Two when he took over, so his net achievement is ONE promotion.

Ah yes, League One. Dizzy heights indeed. Come back when you've won that division with 99 points, built a new 27k stadium and established yourself in the division above.

Anything to say @Smaller than a flea?

In other news they've already decided they don't want Roberto Martinez. Because a manager with a League One title, an FA Cup win and extensive Premier League experience to his name would be a terrible appointment for a club playing non-league football this time last year.

Trying to decide which is the best bit.... "Huge fanbase" "Build a Premiership club" "Like Fergie at Man Utd" All priceless!

I can't argue with that.

It's unfair to frame the question like that. Achievement and success is always relative. We had an open bus top tour in 2006 for finishing second to S****horpe in League One. Hardly the Champions League. They've done very well to turn around relegation out of the league with two successive promotions and I don't think it's unreasonable that they celebrate that.
