Got to keep their front four quiet.  Piroe we all know is a top quality “forward”, but I particularly like the way Rutter can do a bit of everything, go channel, drop in and get it into feet and spin and play in others.  They will have pace out wide no matter who plays out of James, Summerville, Gnonto or Antony.

Ayling has been a thorn in our side, and as much as I loved him for us he’s shown no love back, so I hope Belly can get at him today.  Expect Ayling to try to nobble him.  I think their defence is vey ordinary, and Ampadu in midfield is not the type to hurt you with creativity.

Of course it’s gonna be a very tough game.  I’d love us to get an early goal.

    Agreed, must score first

Kick was so good. It also had a couple of add ons* that in hindsight were way ahead of their time, in the case of pitch types, still not copied**.

*Kick off 2 - Return to Europe. I think it was the first game that let you play as an actual real team, with real player names.

**The other one was called Final Whistle I think. It introduced pitched types, that really impacted the play - bumpy pitches were a wild ride.

Final whistle, that takes me back to hours of enjoyment. Remember you could then swerve the ball and the refs were all a mixed bag (Screech was a nightmare if I recall. Dished out reds for fun)

What about being a Man City fan...?

Anything but winning the title is a shock & failure.

Only winning 2-0 today must have seemed dull & drab.

Expecting to win, no matter who you are playing - you can only be left disappointed - bar the times it's an exceptional win, or a moment of world class quality goal - that stands out above all the other goals...

Where actually is the fun in going only expecting to win & being diassapointed by anything other than a goal feast..?

Where do you go from winning everything - is only the quadruple trophy hall their incentive now.?

Disappointment & failure at failing to retain the champions league year after year - or just getting used to that to a point it's expected or seen as a season of failure..?!

I was chatting to an old school Man City fan on Holiday - he has his season tickets - but only bothers going to about half the games because it feels like a bit of a foregone conclusion...

Can it really be fun, really..?!

How’d they feel in 98/99? If you’d been there as a fan in those times, wouldn’t you enjoy these times.

I don`t get this fixation with people demanding to hear from him every five minutes. Don`t we get enough info from Tins and NP? I`m sure if PA was giving interviews every five minutes he be criticised for hogging the limelight and not getting on with his job like previous CEOs we have had.

Do people demand a statement from the head of Tescos every time the price of beans goes up?

I only demand it when Pot Noodles go up
