We’d probably have lost that in the last 3 or 4 years so points ok, but that was like pulling teeth

Would be nice to show some more of the bravery on the ball in their half we show in our half. Knight started to take the ball on the half turn a bit more towards the end of the half which is unlocking them

With us heading to St Andrews Friday, it’s bad timing that Wayner appears to have gone extreme in his motivation methods.
Desperate times

I have said a fair few times that this team even though it lacks the quality of others have become very hard to beat ,
I still think we are a fair bit off a top six side ( squad ) but the foundations are there , for once Lansdown back the manager and invest in this squad in January and start building rather than fxxking selling all the time ,
hate to say it but knight will be the next to get big interest , let’s hope Bournemouth don’t need any more midfielders
That’s how I see it, I think 8th is definitely towards the top of our range of league positions with the players we’ve had available through the season, but with 2 or 3 back from injury and maybe only 1 good signing, and more time to adopt Mannings style, who knows. Still think we’ll end up 12-14th but let’s see

Back to back wins, excellent character to comeback. Was basically 3-1 with their ‘penalty’ . Happy Christmas lads

Has TomF come back and hacked your account……. He always had multiple rants about Mardle every world championship
And on the subject of shit, that woman they have doing the post match interviews is cringeworthy.
Sky have a long way to go to replace Dave Clark, he was a great presenter and interviewer.
Will swim against the tide but I don’t mind Mardle at all. Just loves the darts

Littler is quality, that’s 2 very decent pros he’s knocked out. Think wadey and wright were in his section too, so could go a decent way in this tournament, perhaps a qf

We are gonna win tomorrow…somehow.
Not so sure Dave. Love the optimism but can’t see it …..but here’s hoping!

They do want success for this club, but they want it on their terms with their own people. Because they want the credit for it.
NP was a MA and SL appointment.
It does feel like they could do with accepting some impartial recruitment advice . Maybe that’s the blind spot, maybe they do already, don’t know

We love going round in circles on here don’t we. Another thread with the theme of Steve and Jon trying to deliberately sabotage the club/having some nefarious agenda/being part of some evil cabal/aliens controlling our minds etc..
Come on.
I think people can level plenty of criticism at them for making bad decisions but why would they not want well for the club? It’s not like we’re a Man U cash cow.
if there’s some intricate reason I’ve missed then all ears, until then I’ll keep turning up , supporting the players. And having a beer with me mates

Im totally with you , and it’s probably the angriest I’ve sensed amongst a lot of us
But , but , but
All I’m saying is if that happens , and I guess I know I’m p****g in the wind , but we are ultimately going to shoot ourselves in the foot.
I think they should be reminded at every opportunity of what they did and how they did it , but away from those 90 odd mins at the bare minimum
I can see the fans having a major influence on any unfolding , to , ultimately our own significant cost.
Tbf it’s a individual choice but I’d hope a few would at least think it through
Hear hear. Get behind the lads, not their fault for all this and desperately need our support

Magnificent
Looks slightly cumbersome but graceful at the same time
Very good footballer
It’s a strange mix isn’t it. On the one hand lumbering about like Bigfoot, next second pirouetting like Berbatov. Loved his work tonight

I think the key here is “belief” “edge” “fight” - ie the things he classed as positive (which they were) are an inherent part of the group mentality and not down to him or the coaching team.
And if they’re “overloaded mentally” then Liam, sorry, you’ve got it wrong.
I forget who said that football is a simple game over complicated by idiots. That quote kind of resonates currently for some reason.
Watching the period before the subs it did feel like they were very constrained then after felt like they played with a bit more freedom, bit of desperation to do something which had been sorely lacking before that point. Almost feels like it would benefit the lads to be let off the leash a bit tbh

Had a few contrasting halves under manning, hopefully this will be another. Because that was er, not good

Very little cutting edge going forward

Are we aiming for top 6 then?
If only someone had mentioned this before!
Really not sure it needs to be brought up every half an hour regardless of what the thread is.
Exactly. We all know it, the hierarchy said it, it’s not true. Move on

Fair play to the people feeling positive after that. After we equalised we made nothing for nearly an hour. Not sure what’s happened to our attack but it isn’t good.
1 point from 9… it’s season over isn’t it? We’re not going up or down.
We were likely to be mid table from the start of the season after Scott left, with or without Pearson

Frustrating performance but some good moments, just need better quality in final third. Don’t get bringing Sykes off unless injured.

Very very poor today. I like to have seen city just go for it the last two games , I’d imagine we’d have probably won one and lost one but the football we played is way too safe going forward and we got exactly what we deserved today
