No doubt - but just because you hope it fails doesn't mean it will. Varying circumstances in all cases of course but how many Portsmouth fans thought little old Bournemouth would be three leagues above them a few years back? They'd have been beside themselves with laughter at the notion. It should come as a timely reminder that standing around assuming you're always going to be the big fish can be a dangerous game.

If any good comes of this (other than disinterested foreigners running them into obscurity - here's hoping!) it's that no doubt it'll make those in charge at BCFC/BS realise that things don't stand still, and we can't rest on our laurels and assume that we're the only club in the region with aspirations. As much fun as it is to take the piss, things can change very quickly in football and you can certainly find success stories where overseas investment is concerned.

Freeman's having a good game but Tomlin is head and shoulders the best player on the pitch.

I said at the time I think his downfall was trying to stay on his feet before his lack of balance took him down. Not that should go against you, joke decision.

Looked absolutely stonewall from where I was sat. I was cheering when the whistle blew as I couldn't believe it could be anything other than a pen. Tomlin in 45 minutes has shown that he is absolutely a class above, everything we are missing, creative, skilful, fantastic range of passing, just superb.
