  1. Hamstring they said, hopefully a minor irritation rather than a serious problem.
  2. Wasnt an easy chance, he wasn't point blank either so needed some power on the header. One of those that sometimes will beat the keeper even when it's fairly central, was a smart save from a quality keeper.
  3. To be fair we haven't really had many real clear cut chances, more half chances. Kodjia's header excepted, and even that wasn't an easy chance - it wasn't point blank range and it was a good save; albeit straight at the keeper.
  4. That's the worry isn't it. Let's hope we don't rue missing a couple of decent chances/half chances later on.
  5. Had by far the best of the chances in that first half. Surely we have to start getting the results that the performances deserve.
  6. Game's gone a bit flat now. Hope we don't regret not scoring whilst we were on top early on
  7. Need to start making better decisions in the final third. We're just panicking and hitting it in aimlessly every time we break down the wings. Bryan had so much time and space to wait for a better option there.
  8. Does anyone know if Fabio has ever played in a Champions League final?
  9. Cardiff growing into the game. We need to get the ball to Kodjia and get him running at them more.
  10. ? Pretty fair I think so far. We got away with one on Fabio and he's given a few for us.
  11. Gone close a couple of times, been the better side so far for sure. COYR!
  12. Baker got away with one there. Lucky they didn't make more of that, he had acres to run into. Wilbs needs to stop going down like he's been shot every 2 mins, ref's not buying it.
  13. I don't understand what point you're trying to make? I think the original point was that to have the option of bringing someone on with the experience and ability of Zamora is a luxury we don't have. Twice in four days he came off the bench late to turn 1 point into 3 for Brighton. Our lack of recruitment in the summer means our options on the bench are severely limited, and that's why despite clearly being exhausted after an hour, Wilbs plays on and on like the proverbial Duracell bunny, whereas Brigton can bring on a vastly experienced striker who is the ideal tool to punish tired defences. Thats 'the difference' and highlights the small margins in football. A better summer and that could easily be us at the top end of the table instead of the sticky end.
  14. Brighton and us Top of the league and hovering around the drop zone At a rough guess
  15. Positives from today were Kodjia, Reid and Pack's performances. Kodjia was a real handful and was at the heart of everything we did well in the first half, Reid showed he's come a long way in a couple of years and made some intelligent passes and Pack did pretty much everything well. I'm taking a lot more positive than negative out of today. Still think we needed to change things earlier though, Agard should have been on with 30 mins to play - they were camped behind the ball and it needed someone more mobile than Wilbs to stretch them. Sooner or later we must surely start getting the return that our performances have deserve. Neither Leeds, Brentford or Burnley have been particularly good against us and they've taken 7 points.
  16. I was at the other end so didn't have the best view - my point was that to concede two goals from two consecutive corners is very poor.
