Another calamity bit of PR, it doesn't bother me in this instance as I have no firm plans for Easter weekend, but even so. It makes my blood boil that this kind of decision can be made at such short notice, with no regard for anyone that it concerns.

nerve much... Just saying portvale promotion hopefulls.
Very bloody hopeful on this showing.

Jet is pathetic... Why are we not playing Simon Gillett were missing his work rate....
Sigh, and so the point scoring begins...well done superfan!
No one has ever, ever doubted his ability to single handedly get us points, especially against mediocre oppo.
It's when we're up against it and need everyone gut-busting and finding that 110% that his attitude has been called into question.
This sort of position should see him shine. Seeing as we all want to see us win and our players play well, let's ditch the in-bickering and hope we can make it into a real rout in the second half.

According to radio stoke they cant believe what they're seeing in a first half that they've dominated.
Take back all i've said about what's his name....not really.
Shame i'm not there to see it
Not sure what they're smoking. We haven't deserved 4 goals but we've has nearly 60% of possssion and 14 shots to their 5....

Drop should be dropped if he doesn't score a hat-rick. Lazy git
How many of those ciders have you had, devil?!

Crazy thing is we haven't played that well. Defence is still shaky. Midfield still giving the opposition to much space but we look so lethal up front with Paterson, Baldock and JET. COYR!
This is true we have still looked shaky at the back. But a front three of JET, Baldock and Paterson looks good at Championship level let alone League One.
Goes to show what a bit of confidence can do.

Oh my.
Can't remember the last time a City team were so roundly applauded off at half time. Or full time come to that.
-
Almost concede from own corner then basically score a throw in
-
We've just conceded a shot on goal literally ten seconds after a corner. Passes the ball short but not to our own man and then allowed them to run the length of the pitch unchallenged
-
Jet has been excellent so far.

I didn't go, which I'm devastated about. I was at a terrible Fulham vs. Newcastle game with my Bristol City supporting pal (his fault). Both of us spent 90 minutes trying to get our phones to work.
Swindon are not very good at the moment, City were three in three. There was no way Town would go 'pretty' for this game, with the sending off a hard-fought out draw will do just fine.
Your guy that got sent off looked like a tricky little player before his moment of madness. He did look like a ticking time bomb though, niggling away throughout the first half with petty things.

Post game radio phone ins.
Now is the time when utter clowns are on the airwaves across the country.
Sack the manager
Play 5 up front
Sack the board
No passion
Play drop back goalies
Sack the tea lady
Etc
We did the second one didn't we! To be fair though JET certainly wasn't at his best today. No one had a bad game though. On another day we would have had 2 or 3, just one of those games!

Wolves drew at home to the Shrews same score. Its a sign of not a bad side that when the ball will just not go in, you still keep a clean sheet.
Little moan if you like - back line played in poisition and a clean sheet. Coincidence?
Not rocket science is it, round pegs in round holes! Nosworthy and Karleigh were excellent.

THE HEDGEHOG TWEETS!!

Disappointing not to have capitalised on the extra man for so long. On another day could have scored 2 or 3 but just lacked that little bit of luck.
Still, 10 points from the last 12 including a visit to Posh and just one defeat in eight. We'd have bitten someone's hand off to be offered that beforehand.

You really do refuse to ever admit you could be possibly have been wrong don't you?Laughable.
You remind me of one of those politicians who adopts a ridiculous stance and then flogs it to death even though their argument has long crumbled around them, rather than admit they made an error of judgement.
Do you stand by your statement that Baldock is an 'average league one striker', the words you used a couple of months back?
-
Amazing we have a 30+ goal front pair, yet are closer to League Two than the championship.
Yep, anyone with half a brain can see that the issue is the number of goals conceded, and not a lack of goals scored.
Better defending and we could easily have been pushing for the playoffs and not narrowly avoiding relegation.
Sadly I can see us losing JET and Baldock in the summer, and we will struggle to score as freely as we have this year.
Fingers crossed though. A strong finish to the season and we might be able to convince them to stay beyond the summer.
-
Said it before and said it again, even the very best strikers miss good chances. SB could well finish on 25+, and for any of his earlier detractors to still be trying to defend their point is laughable. For a team who have been almost consistently relegation candidates all season to have the league's top scorer, finding 20 before mid-March is absolutely incredible, and the fact that he still gets stick beggars belief.
His GOALS to SHOTS ratio is the same as Luis Suarez, in fact it's possibly better as the football league stats are a good 2 or 3 games out of date.
I mean honestly, what more do you expect from a forward at this club?

Leeds now conceded 8 in one and a half home games!
Make it 9. McDermott has to go now surely!

This will be one hell of a result if we can do the unthinkable and hang on.
It actually makes me sad reading this as I type, that we have fallen so far that we will consider a miraculous narrow win at Peterborough as possibly the best result of the year!

Can I start a told you so thread about baldock now?
Get in line mate!

It'll be amusing to hear Don Corleone trying to defend his ridiculous comments from a few weeks back
