Never went over, soft decision
-
Dreadful defending but lovely finish from Baldock
-
Oh Waggy.
-
Seems most here just aren't happy unless they can moan.
We were never going to go to Tamworth and play like Brazil on a non league pitch.
It's on TV for a reason, this type of tie is a lot trickier than people think. You rarely see lower football league teams go to a non league team and stroll.

Fantastic finish. That's what makes JET so bloody frustrating. For half an hour he can't pass 5 yards to a team mate then he goes and does that!!!
-
1-0 loss then tamworth to draw man u in the next round.
The change of management left you feeling glass half full then
-
Really looking forward to it. Think the game has come at the right time, everyone will be keen to impress the new boss and will be playing with a bit of freedom. COYR

Anyone pointed out yet that Hollowhead's win rate is almost identical to SODs?
-
The arrogance is astounding. It's a massive IF that we will get someone in who will accumulate more points in the remainder of the season than SOD could have.Good riddance.
If we went down would you stand by your views? Probably not.
Mind you, neither would JL probably. It would be someone else's fault no doubt.

What panic there is from the Board; yet another manager sacked, yet again the real problems not addressed. The Board stands accused of total incompetence in every sphere - the mind boggles at who they might appoint as manager!
How many of the players who came here because Sean was coach will stay? How many of the players who we got on loan because Sean was coach will stay? Does the Board seriously think that JET will stay in January?
Derek Williams already tweeted that he is 'gutted'.
SOD clearly had the backing of the players.
-
Great news to me - how on earth could we keep going on the way we were ! Changes start now - at every level.
Except the board, who are above criticism and responsibility.
-
You can bet, whoever the next manager is will be a lap dog to the board and Lansdown.
It's no secret that SL doesn't get on with SoD... this is his doing imho.
I have no faith in this board or SL anymore... in fact I've always doubted their footballing knowledge...not their money.
I feel sorry for the next manager having to work with this lot...
I hope the fans realise it's the board killing this Club and not the managers.
Spot on. The board are the one constant in the wave after wave of shite we've been fed.

Didn't take long. That's the day my season ticket goes back.

I dont get our club no wins in 13 and he stays then 1 loss in 7 and he gets the sack... unbelievable
BCFC board for you. Clowns of the highest order
-
Exactly. Anyone would think Sir Alex was waiting in the wings. Anyone we bring in will have less experience and pedigree than SOD so they'd better be a bloody miracle worker for their own sake.Exactly Super - hardly a bundle of suitable candidates are there? Idiot Board. Fuming.
I remember when we went down and everyone talked about how we'd learn from the past and ensure we have SOD the time required to rebuild.
Yeah so that lasted like what, 15 weeks?

Doubt he'd want to leave Scotland tbh. He is doing well mind.
Like McInnes did?
-
I am furious. Same old City. No learnings from the past whatsoever. And to do it when we FINALLY look like we're beginning turning the corner on the pitch.
Gobsmacked.

Joke. It should be the board paying the price not the manager. Shambles.
Interesting quote about looking to appoint someone who 'buys into the plan', said as if SOD didn't.
-
Incredibly disappointed with this. Just goes to show we learn nothing as a club. Another costly parting of ways. Another recruitment process. JET will go.

bad day for the moaners
They're gonna have to go and beat the wife now that they can't lambast City all night!
-
Doesn't bear thinking about where we'd be without JET! Worried we will lose him in Jan.
11 in 16 in a terrible team has to be attracting attention.
-
Doesn't count. Not both in the League
It counts for me. 3 wins from our last 4 games is good no matter what, in light of recent form.
-
2 consecutive wins for the first time since..... ????

Sean Keeps his cards very much close to his chest as we know and perhaps Adam Baker knows better than to ask him the same question over and over but it is his job to do just that only in this last interview he did not, namely... 'any more areas you want to strengthen?'.
I am sure he does and will if the right one can be found or negotiated and if a key player does end up going. So, other than another goalie, do others feel he will or we do genuinely need another player?
At this the first day of new season training I feel Sean has assembled some decent players that along with the current squad will be a strong force this year. Unless anybody goes he has a better team right now than we had a year ago.
Another GK is a must although as they will be brought in specifically as a number 2 there's no mad rush for that.
I think if we are to be playing without wingers then another central midfielder is a must. We have plenty of defensive minded options but are definitely lacking in the pushing forward creative type.
Assuming Baldock and Davies are to stay I can't see us signing another striker with Taylor and Burns also here.

All very admirable, but you would expect the richest club in the country to be able to have a good matchday experience, considering what they charge their fans in light of how little they've achieved in recent history.
