Why don’t we celebrate all our wins over top clubs? We beat Arsenal in our first game back in the First division at their place- worth a celebration ? We beat Liverpool in the league - worth a celebration? Man Utd at Old Trafford - let’s have a Saint Kevin Mabbutt day. Yep , sad and tinpot. Let’s welcome back our old heroes for a bit of a wave and to rekindle memories but let’s wait until we have something really special to celebrate before blow the dust of our, rather short , roll of honour.

The one good thing about this is that we are finally maintaining the contact with ex players and staff which can only be a positive for the club. The more football ‘friends’ City has the better.

I expect they have too much information to take on board and have moved away from what they were previously doing. Let’s hope they settle down soon because since LM arrived our strong defence has been making some silly mistakes which has cost us goals.

If, as the great Sage says, it’s confirmed why ‘ hopefully ‘ confirmation coming . Shouldn’t it read ‘ confirmation coming’ without the doubt expressed by the word ‘ hopefully ‘ ?

It’s the ‘when full ‘ bit that gets me. They couldn’t fill it for , what is for them , a glamour tie with a huge prize for going through so when do they envisage this event happening ? When they’re in the Prem ? For the first comment, it is evidently better further back … Birmingham for instance.
