To be fair can't blame them for celebrating their 1st round league cup victory, don't forget they are the only league club in the history of the competion to fail to reach the 1st round after losing a qualifier. ????

They were the first but not the only! Wimbledon have as well in 2012

I read this week that Florist fans were collecting money to help save Notts County.

Would anyone be brave enough to shake a tin for Rovers at Ashton Gate if it came to it?

    Thought not.

They did all they could to ensure we went out of business in 82 so **** em!

I wondered why some of their forum members post F T G at the end of their message. Now I know what the F stands for.

One the mods changed the code so if one of they pesky little gasheads type FTG it comes out FTG!

Are you trying to make a point there?

The word “person I disagree with” is racist in origin and was used against people who have Down’s Syndrome.

I wasn’t having a go at Kodjias Wrist as I know people use the word without realising what it means.

I guess my post should have had “Down’s Syndrome people”, apologies for missing out a word. There were bugger all insults in my post though.

No point really it’s just the word person I disagree with isn’t mutually exclusive to Down syndrome any more than idiot or imbecile! Words and meanings change!

The word person I disagree with is sort for mongrel as far as I was aware when I was kid (not that I used it)!

No offense meant but people get far to offended for everything these days!

If you are going to make a point about racism and idiotic fans, it's probably best not to use a racist (and insulting to Down's Syndrome) word to describe them.

Down’s syndrome can’t be insulted but people and their families with downs syndrome could be your frankly insulting and I’ll thought out remarks! They’re a people and tar them with the same brush is disgusting!

Plenty will, and it helps that the jerseys are actually nice but I don't like to see a club's traditions being trampled over. I'm not even a Bristol fan so that's the only reason I don't like it. There are plenty of recent examples of team name, colour etc changes coming into the game and that'll only increase as the money increases.

I'd say the fact that we played in blue jerseys is fairly well-known given that it's our only cup final appearance to date. It's hardly comparable since it was a change kit and over 100 years ago though.

I get some people don’t like traditions changing but some change for the better! To be fair we play in a stadium with red seats and everywhere we look is red having red on the shirt can helps us to belong!

Plus as rugby is trying to push for the younger fans now with the advent of rugby X   (Indoor 5 a side) trying the capture the kids that going to play basketball (which is I saw one report it started grow faster than rugby amongst young inner city kids) and along with the bears thing tradition isn’t the be all and end all with the youngsters!

In principle red is obviously the best colour for any team to wear, but if I was a Bristol fan I wouldn't be that impressed. They've also extended Morohan's contract to round it off. Good day for the fans anyway!

I know quite a few Bristol fans (me included have/are coming round to the red! Of course there is the traditionalists who won’t come round (yet/ever) but who still support the team in a hundred years no one will even remember who played in Blue and white stripes! Same as no really remembers City playing in Blue (apart from a select few)

I could be wrong, but to be fair to that particular poster, I'm pretty sure I remember the club trotting out that line after - not for the first time- we were unable to get shirts into the shop for the start of the season. At the time I remember thinking it didn't sound right, but I really don't know. Is it harder to make a quartered shirt?

Pretty sure Wycombe’s kit is out so make of that what you will!

Yes I don't know what it is about keepers in the women's game, but it does seem that the - admittedly very few- games I watch the standard of keeper is pretty poor.

The main reason is that they are women playing a game that is design for men! I didn’t mean that in sexist way but they playing the game on a mans pitch, being female they’re not as strong as men, not as fast and a big one for keepers they’re Reaction times are not as quick!

I think women’s football would improve immeasurably if they played on slightly smaller pitches and slightly smaller Goal posts!

Anyone who engages in violence for nothing but fun, bravado or some misplaced sense of honour is utter low life. The club and society could benefit hugely if they disappeared entirely.

Behave yourself there’s nothing wrong with combat sports!
