Yep i've seen a couple of Nobbs out for England headlines over the years. Couldn't find one now though, sure one was on the Beeb.
Dicks out!

I heard a story about this on the radio years back. Apparently someone came up with the headline a few years before the actual game, they were just waiting for Caley to beat- ideally - Celtic or Rangers.

Exciting, a proper mystery.
Where could the data have come from?
Camping supplies web site?
A soft drinks company? (c1992 perhaps).
Surely not Babestation . I would just like to point out that (so far) I haven't received this email .
I haven't received it either

He went viral with a (terrible) Darwin Nunez song to the same tune. It's a dance song - Better off alone by Alice DeeJay - it's kind of hard to tell as he can't really sing
No way is that 'Better Off Alone', really?

He seems to have done one of these for numerous clubs.
A very weird man.
Well whatever it is, it's gone right over my head.

WTF!.
Edit, just noticed this has already been posted!.
I will have to admit, I have no idea what this is about? Am I missing some kind of pop culture reference/parody in this? As the great Alan Partridge would say 'That was just noise'

Shame you missed our game. You’d have enjoyed a free scarf.
Well lavatory paper is rather expensive these days.

Share with us which hand cream you use, Miah (although I can guess ) because you’ve got hands like a five year old.
That's probably because I've never done a days hard graft in my life
That really is me btw, 60 years old next year and still so youthful !
I may have neglected to mention, that I was working in Wrexham on Tuesday and was after a ticket for their sell out game v Chesterfield

Just to let you know I walked around the ground on Tuesday with this and managed to get in. Big thanks to Mike who gave me the ticket, £20 as well ( he did only want a tenner).Really enjoyed the game and a great atmosphere.

To be honest, Miah, I admire the forward thinking with your roofs. When you move to another ground you can take them with you.
I will be visiting Ashton Gate in March for a work event. It will be my first visit since the revamp. I may try and nick it.

We’ll be ok. Most modern stadiums come with roofs.
We have roofs! They just may be made of slightly different material to yours.

First post in a fortnight. Roverzzz must have won yesterday then
Is it? I'm pretty sure over the years i have been on here posting regularly during some pretty dire times for Rovers. Maybe you could go back through the post and give us some sort of analysis
I still think Barton had us playing some great stuff, but the past month or so have including some really grim games that have been godawful to watch.
Anyway, hope you all have a lovely time Tuesday night. I say lovely, I hope you get dicked and it pisses down all night

Is @Miah Dennehy ok? He seems to have gone missing lately.
I'm sure a couple of months ago I read multiple times how great the football was under St Joey, and some of the most entertaining stuff he's ever witnessed.
TBF I am finding it quite entertaining at the moment myself, so keep up the good work Joey.
I'm still here

Trevor Jacobs?
Yes, well that would who I'd guess was right back that day. We did of course also sign Donnie Gillies as well, but that was a few years later.

I remember being a bit disappointed at this game, whereas in the previous round against Leeds we gave them lots of problems there was great expectation against Liverpool but they had done their homework on us and we didn't really get a sniff in this one. Nevertheless a great achievement to get to the 6th round.
With the passage of time , lack of available coverage and the fact that some teams aren't quite as big as they were, some cup shocks get forgotten about a bit. City beating Leeds was absolutely massive at the time.

You’re right, it was 0-0, were you playing right-back that day?
My guess would be, although I could be wrong, is that a former Ashton Gate favourite would have lined up for us as right back that day.

Never been so packed in at a game as we were on the Good Friday in ‘76, the Muller road end was absolutely rammed
That was the 0-0 wasn't it? I was there, I think it was one of the few games my dad took me to. I think it was around a 26000 attendance, which is possibly the biggest home attendance I've seen Rovers play in front of. Anyway, that's my reminiscing for the day done,, as you were.

He is unhinged. I remember him getting kicked out at Totton in the FA Cup, then climbing over the wall to get in the home end. Iron Acton lad.
