Because the Gasheads would show incredible humility if they were ever to be in the same situation (unlikely in my lifetime I know)?
Well I would, but then I'm dead classy
Anyway, congratulations on your win, all the best in the semis.
Only joking, hope you get battered:)

So this season we have beaten Watford, Stoke, Palarce and now the mighty mancs. What will it take to impress those Sags. Do we have to win the champiins league?

Funny they don’t mention their amazing support. When they take a taxi full.
I was on my Xmas do last night, so I expect the rest were as well

50 want to buy it, but the print run will be just 1.
It's the publishing equivalent of being locked out.
All joking aside I would have thought if any club did a book like this most fans of that club would enjoy it. Everyone has a favourite away day and memories like that are the ones that you will take to the grave.

Seriously though, how many people actually buy this sort of "book"?
50?
Who wants to read shite like "remember that time we took 500 to Leyton Orient & we drew 1-1"?
The definition of minority interest..
I think I might be in it!

Ah, so you hadn’t actually gone away. You were just waiting until you’d won a couple of games.
No wonder we’d not seen you for so long..!
Well I was going to wait for 3 wins in a row but I really have been missing you all and didn't want to miss out on any Xmas presents you may be sending me (Any single malt will be fine btw)

I believe @Miah Dennehy is a he, although I am pretty sure @In the Net is a she.
Both good posters, though, and a shame that @Miah Dennehy has been absent for so long - he will undoubtedly return once the rugby starts.
Don't worry, once we have our new stadium/modified stadium/bigger tents I will be back, then you will al be sorry you took the piss
How are things going south of the river btw, is LJ a little more popular these days?

You raise an interesting theory there mate. Would a City fan get their milk from Dunford`s Dairies and would a Rovers fans go to Hargreaves Lansdown for financial advice?
IIRC Arsenal fans boycotted Holsten for years and Spurs fans refused to buy anything made by JVC.
I wasn't joking about never letting Hireite vans out in Traffic and I know plenty of Rovers fans who stopped drinking Blackthorn after they sponsored you.
I like to think I'm a little bit more sensible these days!

Design Windows insolvency meeting was in August 2015

My mistake, I thought Ron just ceased trading and ran with the other company of his Universal Components who were on the away shirts.

Yeah. You are right on that one. We had Hirerite for what seemed like an eternity!

It was- Design Windows was when you had Hirerite. I have no idea why I remember shite like this.

@Miah Dennehy You'll know then that it was a supporter who organised the previous trips abroad to Sabadell etc, the club saw the ££ and took over the running of it
The same supporter organised Portugal for supporters this year.

Best thing with this season shirt sponsor "Thorntons Travel"
As some people will know Rovers do a draw to see who will be their home and away shirt sponsors, Thorntons Travel entered and were drawn to be home shirt sponsors, the next minute the same company are announced as official travel partner for their trip to Portugal !! What are the chances !
Rovers have worked with Thorntons for years. I love the draw for the shirt sponsor, what on earth is wrong with local businesses being involved with their local football team?

Being in the championship there is a high chance we could be relegated. 9/2 not worth it . But 9/1 the slags going down good value. Also I hope u go down.
Only 3 go down in the Championship, so there is statistically a higher chance of getting relegated from League 1, so there is indeed some value in it. Send me a tenner and I will give you 10/1.

The Sags are 9/1 for relegation.
I'll have some of that!
Not tempted by the 9/2 offered against City?

Fairly generous. Apart from Matty Taylor, have there been many others that he's brought in and sold on for a profit..?
I honestly don't know, but I do think successive promotions make him a good judge of a player which is surely what a managers job is - or at least should be- rather than making a profit.

That's not like you lot. Losing to a league team in the cup..!
We did lose to Tranmere back when they were a league side and we weren't
All joking aside, getting knocked out of the cup by non league sides doesn't even register with me any more it's happened that many times.
I wasn't at Hayes but I remember being stunned at that defeat, but I was at Kettering and Hitchin and was absolutely mortified for days after. Is it me or is it generally more common place these days, cup shocks ain't what they used to be!

The thing is you can't knock what City are doing at the moment but that doesn't stop me from wanting it to stop!
Currently we are light years apart and that doesn't look like changing any time soon, but things do change and in football it can happen quite quickly. A year ago Lansdown and Johnson in particular were getting some horrific stick and the prospect of us facing each other again in league competition looked odds on, a year on and it looks as far away as ever.
I'm 53 next week, and at the moment, I'd take just beating you once more in my lifetime.
