  1. WOW. Of course the examples you raised are unacceptable. Just as a point of order, I've not heard City fans sing about Aberfan ever and I've supported City for over 50 years. I did hear that it happened decades ago though. Another point of order is that I didn't say that I was offended. What I stated was 'it could be because that they are a bunch of c****'. I've had lots of experience of Celtic and their following. In my experience of them inside and outside of Glasgow is that they are what I stated. I've yet to meet one of them that doesn't hold extreme views wherever I've met them or wherever they are from. You've had different experiences. Bully for you!
  2. My view is that he won't be bothered about the abuse he gets and has been getting for years. More like he takes it as some deluded badge of honour.
  3. It could because they are a bunch of c****.
  4. Oooooooo ark at eee. (I couldn't decide which handbag to use).
  5. * Boardroom to the new bike shed in the corner at the Mem.
  6. That has to be a good thing. I can't bear the same old songs trotted out over and over again. Their boring songs are only topped by that pathetic monotone dreary effort about a certain Prozzy sang by web-toed, six fingered, sister shagging quarter wearing few.
  7. Impressive post Mr P. On a side note. You really need to get out more.
  8. Now you come to mention it. I'm as Irish as some of them in the Squad. Just to be clear, there isn't a drop of Irish blood in my family.
  9. I think Pepe is still playing for Porto and in any case he has no experience in management. PS: I'm being very immature and I realise you mean Pep.
  10. Totally agree. Sam Bell basically went out of his way to not collide with the keeper. The defender collides with the keeper. Keeper rolls around with his hand in the air like he's been shot. Keeper gets the free kick and miraculously recovers in 2.3 seconds. The look on Sam's face tells you everything you need to know. There were many decisions last night that were quite literally mind blowing.
  11. You obviously didn't watch our game last night then? We were bloody awful. Apart from TC's cameo. That was a thing of beauty.
  12. He doesn't roll around but he did go down like a sack of spuds. He knew exactly what he was doing.
  13. Bamford is in control of his instinct which is to try and con the ref i.e. cheat rather than stay on his feet which he could have. If the ball had gone to his right instead of to the covering defender, I bet he would have stayed on his feet because he would have been in on goal. The only question is should it still be a free kick? The answer in my opinion is yes, because the keeper was reckless in that he was never getting the ball and just because there was no contact it doesn't mean no free kick. Keeper should have got a Yellow. However, Bamford should also get a Yellow for trying to con the ref.
  14. It is only 2 defeats on the bounce though and as we have seen that can happen to any team in the Championship. However, I hope the losing streak continues if only to ensure the knock one outathon about Ryan Lowe doesn't start up again on here!
  15. Both players have their studs up. Doesn't have to be contact but Keeper should have got a Yellow and Bamford a Yellow for trying to con the Ref.
  16. I think the Championship is living up to its reputation. This is demonstrated by the concertinaed look of the top half of the table. Much of where we will or could end up will be to a certain extent out of our control. In the main, that will be injuries and how long term those injuries are. All in all we look competitive and a division that apart from Leicester any team are there for the taking on a regular basis.
  17. I can't argue with him. I hope his employers don't sack him though. Bamford is a total penis at the best of times.
  18. It's going to be a bit chilly up in Yorkshire compared to the balmy temperatures of the West Country. We that in mind I will be bringing a Ferret to put down my trousers to keep me warm rather than expose my whippet ( Oooo Matron ) to the elements.
  19. I know I may get pelters on here for posting this but, I'm not massively bothered about getting to the Premier League. I doubt whether I will see it my life time (in my 50's) in any case and I'm pretty comfortable with that. If we ever did get there, I don't want to see us get walloped week in week out. I don't want to have celebrations and or matches with VAR spoiling my day out. God I hope that VAR doesn't get filtered down in to the Championship. I also don't want glory hunting fans emerging from the wood work if we were to get there. It just feels that there are more negatives than positives by getting to the so called 'promised land'. So many clubs go up and then come down and the cycle starts again. For every Fulham there is a Norwich, Derby, WBA, Reading etc, etc. Time will tell but I think sometimes we as loyal City fans need to be careful what we wish for. I'll get my tin hat on!!
  20. I can understand £100 a ticket for a big game but it is versus Manchester United !!
  21. Thanks for the idea. After careful consideration, I've decided to go to the pub instead.
