  1. I've just been told our budget for Jan window!! Shocking £400,000 and funnily enough that's what we made from the Chelsea game???Full backing from the board my arse????And I was told off one of the main staff...Can see us getting much for that unless we sell taylor to Bristol but still can't see us buying what we need we that...
  2. After me recently badgering wael on twitter he has just pm'd me wishing a merry xmas and reassuring that we will DEFINITELY be getting a new stadium, if not at uwe then somewhere else. I think a plan b may be coming together. Fair play to him. plan b to ask forest green to ground share
  3. 3 hours ago Quote Post by Topper Gas on 3 hours ago Christ, as Wael started reading the NH book of sayings "we keep on trying til we succeed no matter how many times we are knocked back" that doesn't sound at all positive to me, it sounds like we're nowhere near getting the deal we need/want? Possibly the UWE have left us with their best offer and it's not acceptable? TBH until the new stadium issue is resolved I couldn't careless about the training ground, as having a new one isn't going to resolve the fact we can't play Championship football at the Mem.
  4. Why not a monthly update ? it does not seem unreasonable to me. I don't know who Keith Chimp is, but one thing is for sure, UWE don't appear to be really bothered about building a stadium, Glos Council never mention it, the uncertainty has dragged on for far too long; after all the club is struggling to even build a ******* training ground; don't get me wrong, I have been luving the effect WAQ has been having on our club; but I believe, that if something appears to be too good, then it probably is. I expect WAQ to come up with some plausible reason why BRFC cannot build the new stadium, and then drift away back up to Kensington, leaving BRFC to drift along as we have for the past 50 years. FTG
  5. Sir Belterlot, aka Keith Chimp has just tweeted saying the club have pulled out of UWE project, and to be announced this coming week
  6. Good luck on coach 1 Mind where you sit other wise have a great day
  7. . The Bristol Rovers Supporters Club AGM on Thursday 17th November 2016 will not proceed as planned. Our sincere apologies for postponing the Annual General Meeting for a second time. The process of auditing the Bristol Rovers Supporters Club financial accounts is not yet complete. In these circumstances, we have no alternative but to postpone the planned meeting. As soon as the financial accounts are fully audited we will publish them on the BRSC website. We are sorry that we are postponing the AGM again and we hope to announce a new date for the AGM soon. has he skimmed the money pot ?
  8. I'm not demanding an update from the Board or anything, since I realise that some things just can't be put into the public domain, but they've been in charge now for 9 months, or over 270 days. So they're not the new Board any more, yet still we are in the dark. There must have been one hell of a lot of loose ends to clear up from the original Higgs agreement. Which I guess was ripped up and tossed in the bin some time ago. will today be the day ?
  9. Not claiming to be genuinely ITK or anything because this comes from chatting to Wael at half time on Saturday and nothing else. No idea if he's telling the truth or not, but he was complaining about how UWE were asking for residential prices for the site of a sporting venue. Basically the issue seems to be that they think they can get a massive windfall although we're the only interested party. Said both sides know it'll get done at some point but they're dragging it out by not being realistic with their asking price.
  10. The impression given at the q&a was clearly inaccurate, the silence at the moment is eerily similar to the higgs era. Something obviously isn't right, it's getting a bit concerning now. i think the penny droped
  11. The red card decision winds me up the more I watch it.As soon as the ball bounces, the Millwall player looks at Leadbitter and actually changes his run, and goes into Leadbitter. If anything, a foul the other way. Absolute shitfest of a decision. Call it clever, I call him a cheating ..........How on earth he has arrived at that decision I will never know. It wound me up at the time as it was evidently a collison (I had one view, like the ref) but its wound me up even more now. Has to be overturned. But the damage is done. Clear dive, I know moaning like a bitch wont do anything but its proper frustrating. now they know what's it's like with the boot on the other foot happy days
