I also would miss um due to the derbies which I used to love - they were good for Bristol football, but we are so far apart nowadays that we ain’t playing them for many years IMO. But 1982 I would not wish on anyone as I was at the Newport game (if memory serves me right) when we quite honestly thought this could be the last game for Bristol City. Some of the old skool Rovers fans are actually OK but the new breed I hate. But as the saying goes “what goes around, comes around” and the Gas are well and truly in the shit!

The fact Johnson is unsackable is why I wont be getting a ST next season. The senior management of this club are just taking us “punters” as mugs. If I didn’t perform in my job, I would be sacked! WTF is the difference? SL has been more than patient and £ supportive with Johnson (30 players) yet this mug still stays in his job. We have just thrown away a defo playoff place and most appear happy to finish mid table. How did we fall away so badly? MA - Where is the ambition? Why accept 2nd best? Do we want to get to the Prem? Can’t accept this! He will get 12 games start of next season and if a poor start, he will have to get the sack - you assume? This can’t continue to go on! For all we know, we could be in a relegation fight all next season!

I view LJ as producing the foundations of a good team. What he is yet to prove (to everyone on here) is whether he can build the “walls and roof” to produce a solid all round team. Currently, based on the last 15 games, he is seriously struggling - that is a fact! A good manager has tactically to be able to set a team up to win - dependent on how the other team plays. Managers like Warnock are past masters of this, regardless of whether you like them or not. Based on the last 2 years, LJ has struggled AND IMO he has been found out by several this season. Time will tell over the next 12 months as to whether he can take the club to the next stage - in many ways I feel for LJ, as the Jan transfer dealings I assume was MA decisions primarily, and the less said about that, the better.

It is all a bit of fun really! Brightens up a drizzly Easter Friday though!

The only thing I really miss about playing that scum is taking over there part of Bristol when we go there and if we were really lucky, giving them a good kick up the jacksy as they ran away from us - apart from that, they are history! End of .... Amazes me that they keep coming on OTIB - desperate or what - hanging on to our coat strings me thinks!
